Agree. Completely. I am playing on a PS5 PRO (early release recipient) - even with it’s advanced computing, this game fails to deliver on my end. I have fiber optic internet providing somewhere between 1.8-2.2 Gbps - so sufficient for just about ANYTHING. I’m dying in these dungeons or the new Abyssal Verge for no other reason that lag. It’s highly frustrating & until Blizzard decides to upgrade their servers this game will remain unplayable. Truthfully, I feel Blizzard has been dishonest, exploitive, and have really betrayed our trust… especially with an overpriced DLC (that yes, I purchased). Ultimately, I feel most of us as loyal Diablo players are feeling cheated and betrayed.
And the game is still unplayable now. Massively laggy.
the same problem here DDR5 32GB / i7 13700k Intel / 4060Ti and this started from the last patch until then all was just perfect.Back to PoE i think.
You can mitigate a lot of the latency by disabling:
Packet Coalescing and its Filter setting (Windows 10 has it on by default).
Nagle’s Algorithm (TCPNoDelay set to enabled).
Make sure you have Hardware Accelerated GPU-scheduling set to on (Advanced Game Mode).
Anyone with a series 10 nVidia GPU will notice a huge difference; particularly with FSR 2 enabled and set to Performance. It’s worth it.
Don’t use FSR 1.0 with nVidia series 10.
It definitely isn’t a World of Warcraft server feeling; more like a ‘budget consideration’ for cosmetic maniacs.
