Error (Code 397000)

When I try to log into the game, I get this message: “WARNING! The lobby server is currently not available. Please double-check your version. (Code 397000)”
I’ve had my PC and the launcher open for over 12 hours, and I played at midday as usual without any problems. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I’ve been playing since release. I’ve restarted the launcher, checked for updates, scanned and repaired files, and even restarted my router. Nothing worked. I’m in the EU West region. If I try to access the forum from the launcher, I get a “404 Not Found” error.

I’m having the same issue here in Aviano Italy. Done the same suggested troubleshooting and swapped PhysX from auto to GPU as older suggestions reported working. Game worked fine last night after work, this morning can’t get in.

Update:

Went ahead and submitted a ticket. If the issue doesn’t resolve itself, I’ll update with ticket response in 24hrs.

Same in Hungary. Cant log in. Same 397000 Code for hours!

Same in Poland. I tried other internet provider and other PC and result is the same.

Interesting thing is that I can login to Diablo 4 using different account.

Same problem here in Italy, i reinstalled and update everything but nothing to do.

i tryed to contact the customer service and assistence but nothing looks doesn’t exist. btw the issue remain

Same issue here in UK- wonder if they have been hacked as no response from support- done everything and nothing doing…maybe they want us to play Wow again

Still nothing and I can’t find the way to send a ticket to support. I hope they read forum.

Same here in Romania. haha they didn’t take greenland, but they took diablo iv. weird flex but ok

From what I’ve seen, this isn’t anything new, and I don’t think they’ll explain the specific cause of this error. I guess we can only hope they fix it as soon as possible.

Same here in Sweden. Have been able so play for a bit this morning, but with horrible lag making the game almost unplayable.

Is there a offical Diablo server status site? I can´t seem to find a offical one, only down-detector.

Just received the following from my support ticket,

I replied back stating these have all been completed and advanced troubleshooting should be offered. Or at least let us know there is a problem on their end.

Waiting for next reply, will update again when I hear something.

Same problem on xbox, shut off modem and done hard power down on xbox console still has the same code. Just bought the extension aswell and now I cant even log in to play the damn thing. [Exceedingly]* annoying :expressionless_face:

It’s clear that submitting tickets about this won’t help at this point. There’s definitely a problem with some service. Many of us are experiencing the same issue, and they’ll have to do something to fix it.

So I just managed to get in, finally. If you still having issues connecting, try the beta version of the battle.net app as see if that helps :slight_smile:
