Of course you don’t…you come here bash the OP spew a stupidity and then run away with the “I don’t care” phrase (kind of expected that from the first time you commented, you don’t really seem to be very literate, so it’s better to just ignore when being called out)…Everyone is an IT engineer since the raise of youtube :))
to the OP, and this might’ve already been said, but I’m not gonna read 40 posts on a topic about GPU temps while testing out a beta for a game, but 80°C is perfectly fine for a modern graphics card to operate under. Nvidia cards should be able to withstand temps of up to ~95°C, before throttling kicks in, and will certainly shut down way before any permanent damage sets in, at around 105-120°C. (the exact temps depend on your specific card, which should be detailed in your manual/warranty info, but 80° is waaaay below dangerous).
also, performance optimizations are typically the last step in a software development lifecycle, because you need to have all your code in before you can start checking what’s taxing the hardware so that you can make the correct optimizations with the full picture in place. perhaps some optimizations have been done, to get the game in a state where it can be played by as many people as possible, but it’s likely that not much attention is being payed to performance, and not much should be payed until the game is a couple of weeks, or at most a month from coming out.
Thanks for your valuable opinion
It’s 22 outside and my gpu now 48-50 in d4. no raytracing tho
Ill keep you updated
