Game won’t recognise I have the expansion. I purchased it about a month ago on Xbox, Have the the mount, The fire wings and the kitty but the class Spirtborn is greyed out to me. What the hell is going on ?
I am in the same situation, I bought the expansion and it does not allow me to enter the new area or create the new character.
I’m in the same situation. Shop says I’ve purchased the expansion but character creation screen doesn’t recognize that.

I bought it in September. I had a jaguar, a tiger pet… I can see the tick outside that I have it, but it doesn’t allow me to start a spiritborn

I’ve pre-ordered VoH in Jule (via xbox store), but today I can’t play in it because the game says “you don’t have that DLC, go and buy it”.

Thanks for the reports, we’re aware and investigating!
That said, at least some reports appear to be confusion and please keep in mind that:
- You need to purchase the expansion on each platform you want to be able to play on
- Some players have bought only the Standard → Ultimate edition upgrade, without actually owning the Standard edition first.
- In some cases players are simply missing a DLC license download, please double check!

good morning, on September 28th I pre-purchased the Diablo® IV: Vessel of Hatred™ - Deluxe Edition expansion directly from the Xbox console. the purchase was successful, and I have the payment receipt.
This morning I tried to start the new season with the new character, discovering that I can’t play it.
I would like to understand the problem and if it is solvable.
I bought the vessel of hatred standard pack, then I purchased the standard to ultimate voh upgrade and still can’t play it or with the character spiritborn…. What do I do??

I have other problem, i start the campaign and i now i have a lock on the mission, when i push back to campaign is bug!!!
While I’m playing the expansion some times I can’t go further as the game said that I don’t have the expansion, as when you must use the rope for enter the stronghold with the two npc,s at the very start of the campaign when you just reach the new map. I need to go out of the game and restar it to go further but I need to do again the dungeon. I have it on Xbox
I also bought it through battlenet and the game tells me that I don’t have it
I started the game normally and everything was ok in the beginning. But now sometimes times during the game my companion disappears and when I check the map for a new region it says "You cannot progress further due to not owning vessel of hatred’. I’m playing Xbox version. Looks like at some point it’s loosing information about owning the expansion
You must restart game; I’m into this trouble too.
this is incredibly upsetting
then why the hell are xbox and microsoft promoting features like playanywhere? Makes no sense. I understand the base game not being playanywhere (released prior to the ABK purchase) but the dlc released 10 months after the buyout. Fix your stuff.
