Greetings, fellow adventurers of Sanctuary!
I have recently immersed myself in the thrilling world of Diablo 4, and I’ve come across a minor issue that I hope you can help me resolve. Currently, I am at the “Topaz” level when it comes to the gems I can create, but I’ve noticed that I’ve been accumulating excess gems that are no longer useful to me.
I am eager to enhance my gems and unlock the superior versions, but I am unsure of how to do so. I have tried exploring various locations and undertaking quests in the game, but it seems that I have yet to discover the proper method for unlocking more powerful gems.
I wonder if any of you have experienced this situation and can provide guidance on how I can progress and obtain more valuable gems. Are there specific challenges, missions, or locations that I should explore to acquire these higher-tier gems? Additionally, are there any special requirements or other details I should be aware of?
I started to get better gems when i hit 50. So it maybe tied to your level.
Gem upgrades are tied to your level. As your character levels up they’ll unlock increasingly more powerful upgrades.
Hold onto those chipped and crude gems, they’ll be nice for alts (as your stash is account wide) and you can always upgrade them to superior quality later as long as you have the gold.
Can confirm, next "stage for both crafting and drops are at lv50, so there is a lv gate, what that is for all the gems idk, but character lv cap is 100, so my guess is a new stage of gems every 25th level.
I’m not sure if this information is incorrect or there is a bug. I’m currently level 54 (druid) and have only the “regular gems” (Amethyst, Diamond, etc) available. There are no “Flawless” available.
i also only got the “normal” versions of them, is there a quest to unlock higher tiers or smth?
The lv50 flawless? gems unlock at playerlv60 and the perfect gems at player lv70, noticed the flawless drop in nightmare lv17 dungeons too
It is tied to world tier, the higher you go the better the gems get.
