Dynamite comment utterly on point.
Sorry but why would anyone spend 80euro on a game and then wait a year for the game finally to be playable?
Might as well have bought it for 9,95 on sale a year from now then…
This is just sad and unacceptable
You know activisionBlizzard Right.? Some games for few years did never drop a cent in price. And you think they will make it cheaper. Good luck waiting and say when it gonna happens, Only they gonna lower price when game will be same as fallout 76. But they really going good way in that .
I don’t really know them that well tbh, don’t usually play their games…
Did expect more from a company with such large titles…
Doubt they gonna sell a lot more copies if they don’t reduce the price though
Just logged in and did some nightmare dungeons:
- Blizzard/Shard hybrid build
- Cooldown reduction was 43% now 34% feels a lot worse to play as a result
- The nerf to disobidient aspect and other defenses was very noticable, dungeon only 2 levels higher, walking balista hit for 90% health, yesterday would have been 65%
- Damage overall was much the same, some elements higher some lower but no noticable difference
- Experience was noticably lower but higher than before previous buff
- At level 92 got 3 legendaries from both dungeons which was higher than before
Overall we are even squishier than before and do not know whether to play sorc in season 1 now due to losing 750 armor from gems for the new season rewards, two days to decide
I was hoping for firewall build to get stronger, or a viable fire build from the patch, but it doesnt feel like that is happened.
So maybe Sorc in season 2, but druid in season 1.
I was using flame shield (with immobilize aspect so i can immobilize with tp) → teleport (stun) → (aoe freeze vulnerable) → lightning core crit…
But since they nerfed the aspect for damage vs frozen/immobilized/stunned targets and they no longer stack, + reduced devouring blaze i went from doing 3mil+ damage with stacked cc’s, to like 300/500k…
And how can your damage be the same you also using devour for it right?
And the aspect for frozen/immobilized/stunned? which no longer stacks
are you actually illiterate or something, did you not understand a thing the patch notes said, and why are being such an condescending arsehole?
Im wondering why so many people seem to be going crazy over fixes to broken skills… I even asked someone what their “own” build was and what skill was affected by these patch notes… I didn’t get a reply. So pray tell, how am I being such a condescending arsehole, as you claim?
I gave you a reply to that lol… i explained why it affects my build in several ways lol… maybe read?
If I missed it, ok… Will check, just hope you wasnt vague and somehow delfected… I asked you a seraphic question btw…
- Cooldown Reduction: Reduced by ~30%.
- Imbuement Skill Cooldown Reduction: Reduced by ~30%.
- Trap Skill Cooldown Reduction: Reduced by ~30%.
- Critical Strike Damage: Reduced by ~17%.
- Lightning Critical Strike Damage: Reduced by ~17%.
- Critical Strike Damage with Bone, Earth, Imbued, and Werewolf Skills: Reduced by ~17%.
- Vulnerable Damage: Reduced by ~40%.
- Cooldown Reduction (Inherent on Offhands): Reduced by ~35%.
- Critical Strike Damage (Inherent on Swords): Reduced by ~50%.
- Vulnerable Damage (Inherent on Crossbows): Reduced by ~65%.
- Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies: Decreased by ~30%.
- Damage to Frozen Enemies: Increased by ~20%.
These are the nerfed stats, that literally every build uses, dont lie and pretend you’re build uses none of these.
Crits and Vulnerability are the crux of viable builds in this game. They are the core multipliers.
Nerfing these stats doesnt just nerf skills, it nerfs how your choice to specialize can actually impact your average damage output.
The only worse thing they could have done would have been to also nerf lucky hit, but that stat is already rare and rolls ridiculously low, so there was no reason to.
So what modifiers do they want you to use, when the ones most skills synergize with, because aspects and passive skills hinge on them, are nerfed simply because all builds used them.
- Total Armor: Reduced by ~30%.
- Total Armor while in Werebear Form: Reduced by ~25%.
- Total Armor while in Werewolf Form: Reduced by ~25%.
- Damage Reduction from Close Enemies: Reduced by ~20%.
- Damage Reduction from Distant Enemies: Reduced by ~20%.
- Damage Reduction from Enemies that are Bleeding: Reduced by ~25%.
- Damage Reduction from Enemies that are Burning: Reduced by ~25%.
- Damage Reduction from Enemies that are Poisoned: Reduced by ~25%.
- Damage Reduction from Enemies that are affected by Shadow Over Time: Reduced by ~25%.
- Damage Reduction while Fortified: Reduced by ~25%.
Those are the defensive nerfs. Those make that you go bye bye faster.
So while they cripple your killspeed they also increased enemies kill speed.
So Glass canons are already in the gutter.
hohoho aint that fun.
Most builds need devouring blaze/burning target damage for extra damage…
We also need multiple cc’s for damage…
But they nerfed both devouring blaze % (for both burning + immobilized)
As well as aspect of control… they no longer stack 3x if you have all cc’s…
All these things, stacked… so to get my optimal damage from regular 20-50k hits to 3mil… i need multiple cc’s/burning…
If you just build for burning damage, your damage will be bad…
Just build for stunned/frozen, same story…
The way we got our damage, was from stacking them… which now got nerfed for every spec.
My combo was like flame shield (with immobilize aspect) then i teleport to an elite, i stun+burn+immobilize at the same time…
Then can use my aoe freeze which freezes him + makes him vulnerable to get max damage on core skills…
But literally everything thing about this got nerfed… so now it does no damage…
Cause either the % been nerfed, or they no longer stack damage…
Then if we look at the defensive side, we got a bit of a buff at damage reduction… but seem to have a bit less base armor, while we already had least of any class ingame…
(not even 6k atm…) the 10% extra damage reduction after spending mana isn’t gonna prevent me from randomly being 1hit by ranged mobs
Well I dont really use crit or vul(much)… So yeh. Most of the rest is just ok, sure… AS I said I play blight/blighted corpse minions and as such my focus is DoT damage. So… BTw I argue you to get my build nerfed into the ground as say some have claimed about their builds, I wouldnt care less.
If you’re using Blighted, you probably also use Corpse Tendrils.
That’s damage against Crowd Controlled enemies. That’s Vulnerability.
You very probably also use CDR, so Corpse Tendrils is up more often.
DoT builds might trule be the only builds they deemed worthy of existing, but then there’s the question of how viable those builds are to begin with, considering how slow DoTs Tick, and that they can’t crit at all.
For that to work you really need your max rolled modifiiers probably everywhere they can roll.
That is horrible, no wonder you have issues.
Im using corpse tendils, But oddly I took the other option for blood orbs and possilbe more survivability… So your next retort?
It’s the same for other builds though, they also stack multiple of these things…
If you only focus on 1 you just won’t get that high damage.
And still got further than most random builds with this… tho sure Blizzard was stronger, didn’t wanna copy that
Finished T75 max with it, and t60/69 was kinda comfortable to clear if i didn’t sleep while playing.
Just going into helltide, will see how it goes there, but in other areas on equal level mobs not much changed.
Try on elites lol, not like i can tell much diff on regular mobs…
