So, in case you, the devs, didn’t know, there is a massive memory leak causing hard crashes every 1-2 hours. Just thought i’d tell you to you know…maybe fix it? The fact that you are incapable of actually making substantial new content for every season is clear, but that would make one think you would have more time over to actually fix the shit that is already here, but i guess that’s too much to ask from a bunch of newly graduated developers.

Try to increase your virtual memory and the swap file, it helped me the game does not crash.y

This will only extend the time , but it will crash eventually.
i have 32GB mem with 48GB Virtual memory and its still crashing after 2+ hours.

Try installing older nvidia drivers 561.09. I can play 4h+ sessions with automatic 2GB pagefile without crashes.

I wish they’d at least address this in some way. It’s been a thing since launch that keeps coming around and they’ve never commented on it to my knowledge.
They obviously can’t or won’t fix it…
I’m down to checking in at season start to see if people are still reporting this … and if they are, I won’t go back to playing.

Same for me but has recently started happening much sooner. Most recent one was 2 minutes after entering the world with a character.
I got the same issue. I bought the expansion yesterday and now I wanna refund it. It has been happening too often.

Yes I suspect its a memory leak causing my husband’s game to stutter so bad when he hovers over inventory, mounting, towns.
I looked at task manager showing that D4 game is so highest on memory like 85% which 11million K. Mine is few millions lower.
His pc specs is top maximum requirements which he have 2 SSD m.2, 32GB RAM.
We have almost similar build but my game is fine, no stutters.
Please patch this before the event!

Mine’s increased to 80gb just for this game - still crashes out of memory after 90 mins or so

A million people playing Diablo IV every day, but here a handful complain that it has a big fault… If that was the case it would be full here don’t you think? No problems here on 3 different computers…
I think you should diagnose your computer.
you are lucky. i have black screen after teleport 8x in a hour. (losing elixier / progress / items and group)
i would be super happy with a crash only every 2 hours.

no. if you read carefully. around the internet. you will see this is a really huge issue. we dont talk about 5 users here. this is maybe one of the biggest bugs blizzard / microsoft ever had.
thousand and thousand and thousands of users have this problem. black screens. crashes. bad ping.
and most of us tried already EVERYTHING. new bios. reinstall. drivers etc
every other game works fine. and one hour BEFORE start of season everything was fine too.
they did something at start of season. and they cant fix it. huge bug. thousands of players are getting very angry already.
