pretty sure this is the same guy that posted about way too much legendaries, for a beta with upped drop rates + the proper legendaries are called uniques.
LE got plenty of thread like that and nothing changed. Was the same for D3 too and the game sold plenty. It will not change. And in lot of older H&S like Grimdawn / Titan quest, yeah you have unlimited skill slots, but that’s a trap since the games always encouraged you to focus on a few ones because of effect scaling. At least I’m happy that you don’t need to put 10 pts in a skill to keep it competitive.
These people saying “just deal with it” what about monster difficulty?
You know who posted about that. ME. I Specifically posted about having to have positional challenges, ranged squishies at the back you would want to jump to and big heavies you would have to avoid.
You know who posted about not having unlimited levelling with paragon. I DID. I said that there should be an end to levels so everyone could make a max level character.
You know who posted about damage numbers being way too big. You guessed it. I DID. And they recently introduced the resistances system to stop damage numbers getting too high.
The trolls are people telling others to “go play other games” if they get the same energy back they deserve it.
Like many other things I’ve posted about and Diablo devs listened and have been great for the game and received really well by the player base, this I also feel is important to relate to Blizz.
All the trolls are the people so worried that this will change you will say anything even bad arguments that make no sense to defend this simple 6 button play style.
If you don’t like people posting back about it well, sucks to be you and I would get used to it.
People want more than 6 skills. Not trolling. This is a gameplay feature. How you think this is about trolling is just obvious you would say anything just try and make this point go away. It won’t though many people want the game to improve and don’t care about any of your troll posts.
This is purely about a game mechanic nothing else.

This is exactly what I thought when I unlocked my ultimate. I already had a nice thing going with my skills and wished I could just have my ultimate be its own separate skill that has its own keybind or something.

Again, nothing’s going to change this close to release. This BETA test was just to stress test the system servers and game code.

btw nobody complains about 6 buttons, this post is the first i have seen, member of multiple discord communities also never heard this so must be a you thing
This suggestion barely changes anything when it comes to balance either. I already played without my ult and never felt like I needed this big cd to take on mobs. In fact it was more powerful to have 2 dashes to daze mobs with Rogue or other lower cds like shadow imbuement or energy from concealment to deal with packs.
Adding an extra slot JUST for ultimate wouldn’t even be adding every extra skill to the bar. It would just allow for ultimates to be slotted. and I bet if Blizz looked at everyones builds they would see VERY few people putting ult on their bar. I know all of my friends (about 8 of us that met each other through the discord and played all the beta on vc with each other) did not take ult on their builds and felt it was useless because of such a long cd and so few buttons to choose from. Ult was always first on the chopping block and they all wanted to use more normal skills as the combat wasn’t fun with only 5 buttons.
I think most good build guides will tell people not to take ult. After going to level 25 with barb rogue and sorc, I can see lots of very good builds that would outdamage builds that include ultimate.
This really would only make ultimate actually be viable, as like I said, I think Blizzard could even prove this to themselves just by seeing that most people don’t even slot ult on their bar at lvl 25. At least ults would get used this way and console players I don’t think would have issue pressing 2 shoulder buttons every 60 seconds or so.

How do you think Blizz make decisions then when they look at the forums?
Do they change things that only one person posted about, or do they find topics where multiple posts were made?
There’s 9 posts I linked and that’s not even all of the posts you can find on this topic.
Many likes on these posts and many different accounts posting underneath. Unfortunately for you this is a topic that’s being posted about multiple times, so if they are going to listen to any feedback I’d expect it to be posts just like this that clearly have multiple people posting about the same topic.
so because of like 300 people you think they will change how the game has worked forever? doubt, never gonna happen keep posting about more buttons, maybe aswell give us wasd movement and wow pov too
It was bad because the hack and slash was working as a hack and slash? No Diablo takes much thought beyond identifying the immediate threat and avoiding that.
lol they already said that they were looking at adding wasd to the game
