Problems with fps

I have i9900k rtx3080ti and ssd 1 T and i play this game in 1080p but i have problems of fps, The game runs to 144 but the fps dancing all time to 132 or other porcent, never stay in perfec 144. Is normal this¿? i think my pc is too strong to run this in perfect 144

Are you using G-sync?

Have you set it up to a specific fps?

Gsync, vsync on, set FPS max in game to 120.

See if it’s a solid 120. (Better solid 120 than jumpin between 132 and 200). Input latency from internet latency can cause FPS fluctuations.

I have a monitor with fresync 240hz ips. Y try to run in 144fps but is imposible, I think i have a good pc for run this

5800x and a gtx 1080 here

I play at 1440p, g sync.

Averages 95 to 115 FPS.

I have my cpu, ram and motherboard all in a 1:1 ratio with the fabric clock for zero latency. (4000MHz) which tends to have my system outperform others.

Many people don’t understand ratios and pick the biggest number instead.

Considering your setup, I think you may want to look into optimizing your rig.

Your card is super powerful.

Turn on Nvidia performance monitor in advanced mode and check GPU utilisation.

If it is low, then your system has an issue.

132 to 144 is not a big variation and yes it is normal for it to jump around - especially when a bunch of mobs spawn and you have spells and explosion flying around everywhere, then the FPS will vary a bit for instant demands on GPU.

In fairness that really isnt a big variation in terms of gaming. And did you really notice that 8 fps loss? I mean really? The only way you knew or could of is if you’re monitoring your fps… I would be much more worried if say it was a loss of like 50% at times…

then no is my pc the problem. I think my pc have a problem or something XD. I thought that having the pc that I have, they would not have to dance the fps but I see that perfection is impossible in gaming

Your PC no matter how powerful doesn’t drive flat out on full power all the time or even very much of the time - it responds to the varying demands that are put on to it. That demand load can vary massively increasing several x 1,000% in a few milli seconds and whilst it copes with this very well you are bound to see some variation as the pc responds. I would be more worried if your PC never reached 144FPS or dropped lower and stayed low for several seconds. Also, I wouldn’t say your PC is too strong or even top end nowadays … but good

Time to upgrade that CPU my friend:
