There is spike in network connection when the black screen happens. Small but spike nonetheless. When you log out of the game normally it does flash the similar black screen before exit. So maybe for some reason the servers boot us out or anticheat. Load shiz too fast or something and some que cant keep up and ends up in fail and anticheat boots us out.
As suggested in another thread, try BES CPU limiter. Set it to -10% on Diablo.exe. I am testing it right now and it seems to work for me.

I solved the problem by changing the GPU. I replaced the AMD Radeon RX 6600 with an NVidia RTX 4060 and the black screen is gone. Expensive but effective.
when is this going to get fixed its getting to frustrating to even try to play at this point. 2 min of play doing world boss just to crash when the boss at 75% ish hp. im playing on lowest possible settings beside resolution on 2560x1440p and yet vram sits on 10415 doing play ““lowest settings hopefull to play more then 2 min at a time”” all drivers are up to date also tryid reverting to before known working drivers but not for this season 8
