i swear I’m sick of getting stupid rolls like frost bolts 4 times in a row on tempering and being stuck with it and making the items basically useless to me and i can’t be the only one bothered by this…

just be nice if there was a reset at cost as i am trying to temper 2-3 greater affix gear. i get frost bolts 4 times in a row then i get left with change to cast ice shards, a skill i do not use so now i lose this good item 
took me two days to get focus with cdr guess what it bricked this system its so bad

yep, need to TRY get cdr then masterwork it and hopefully it drop on cdr if that’s part of your build. but the game is FAR improved! they have done an amazing job with helltide! other stuff in the open world like world boss, goblins ect feels more rewarding. and the pit i do love it! few Aoe that can hardly see that do 1 shot me but it’s avoidable in some cases IF you see it 
i love the greater affixes and master working only issue is the tempering can make an item completely useless for your build if say you want more casts of frozen orb but you get more casts of ice shards that item is then useless apart from this i Love the improvements. i played since release they have just done an amazing job reworking major mechanics of the gear and feels great

No… tempering is fine as it is. What we need is better chance to get items with more than 2 Greater affixes. If you regulary find good items you wont be bothered when you brick them. Make them more common when doing lvl 150+ monster content.

no i don’t wany Anything right away nobody said this. i just want better tempering. i love a grind people already get everything handed to them on a plate and no we don’t wanna be flooded with LOADS of greater affix items it needs to be special but when you get a 3 star item and tempering is completely wrong for your build it becomes useless so no it’s not fine as it is…

It should come from those 1 shot Bosses and have no mob run. That way their 1 shot would be 100% okay and justified. Would need an activation currency from Whispers Cache and also while we are at it buff Gold drop from Whispers by 300% times atleast.

There are too many useless Affixes in Helmets and Amulets you will never use and boosts rolling pools up to less than 6% in worst cases. Weapons have it pretty easy and almost oversimplified atm.

Tempering feels very unsatisfying… It’s better than what was before, but gosh it feels so bad ruining a nice new item with seven crappy rolls
RNG is archaic and annoying, I’d much rather have a system where you can keep crafting on items to fit your build and improve them in the long run. Opening your character sheet and think “I designed and worked for this” instead of “I was lucky to eventually get this” seems so much more satisfying to me.
Let us at least reset tempering for now by spending currency, please.

1000% agree.
already had to destroy 3 best bows for my rogue thanks to this insane useless tempering RNG with got me 4 of the same, useless, upgrades in a row, totally wasting my rolls.
And this goes for all the stupid RNG in this game.

yep i have greater affix gear in storage useless to my build because tempering fails. i try a ring earlier had the same stat 4 times in a row

Oh wow!! That’s an awesome ring with 2 stats that I need maxed out… Now it’s a brick. I’m here to enjoy a game and this is taking far too much time for me. See ya.

It can be very annoying to waste all your tempering rolls to ALWAYS get 1 roll in particular.
It seems some tempering skills have a weighted affix roll.

Diablo is RNG casino and not grind to improve, please keep it and stop importing MMO mechanics like kind of reputations and gold sinks to receive guaranteed reward. RNG should be king in Diablo with all the disgusting and great moments it brings.
