We have been needing stash tabs at least 200 stash tabs like Game Last Epoch. It would be excellent joy if there were 200 stash tabs.
In the game Last Epoch, you need so much space because in the end game you craft legendary items. Unique items in LE drop with a legendary level (max level 4, which can be as rare as a Path of Exile’s Mirror of Kalandra). A unique item with the potential of 2 for a legendary item means that, after crafting, it will inherit 2 statistics from the Exalt item (this is an item with higher stats than a regular item). By combining these two items, you get a Legendary item. That’s why in LE you need to have so many stash tabs. Unfortunately, in Diablo 4 there is a tendency to “destroy” items. There’s no crafting, most things you drop and “swap” when you drop something better. Therefore, D4 offers nothing and is boring, seasonal activities won’t change that. Even if you wanted to collect items to trade them, potential “buyers” will likely drop the items themselves and few are interested in trading in D4 (except for those looking for exploits to duplicate money or items needed for uber bosses, which is very sad). D4 is designed for casual players who don’t have time to play. In 2 days of playing, I made a character on level 75 with the unique and legendary items I needed… 2 days!!! Whereas in PoE or LE it would take a week to have the equipment to farm for better gear. Moreover, in LE, unlocking 200 stash tabs can be problematic (due to the cost in gold), and here trading is the solution. In addition, you have an advanced item filter in LE, which helps you separate junk from desirable or good-to-trade items. In D4, you don’t know what you’re picking up, and 90% of it is junk to be sold to NPCs or dismantled for materials. And 100% of the items that will potentially be better than what you have come from bosses/uber bosses. And the game in D4 practically ends after maximizing equipment/glyphs. After this, you have nothing to do, the game content offers you nothing that would allow you to continue playing.
Yes, well you wont get it as it is bad programming that is the reason to why we only have 5 shared stash tabs in the first place.
Realisticly we wont see any increase before the expansion is dropped.
Right now we have 6… But it cost us crashes and loading screan freez.
This game can’t manage 50 -100 stash tabs. This is like D3, no more tabs in 10 years. We even don’t need more because we have to destroy items if we don’t use them, 6 tabs is enough says Blizz.
It’s a bit cramped after a while but eventually I deal with it and refine my stock.
I think that’s healthy. Keep it tidy, don’t save everything. And now, for your growing uber supply, you can melt them for a specific. Should save a bit on that uber space at least.
And I save all kinds of stuff. I think that’s healthy too. And I think it’s healthy to deal with choice. It sucks but if we had 100 tabs there’d be nothing but droves of garbage in there.
