What happened to Sorcerer? By lvl 20 so weak

Sorcerer was fun in beta, feels like it has been nerfed a lot. BY lvl 20 dungeons are very very dull, so slow and boring :(. Sadness.

Going to take a break already and come back tomorrow, anyone have a good build that feels powerful at lvl 20?

Try arc lash build. It’s the only one I found with decent damage. I agree - they nerfed sorc a LOT. It’s not as fun as it used to be in betas but I read on other forums they over-nerfed all classes…

More nerfs today…

Becoming a bit of a joke

Skill Changes

Arc Lash

  • Lucky Hit Chance reduced from 30% to 14%.
  • Glinting Arc Lash Cooldown reduction reduced from .25 to .15 seconds.

I build around making enemies vulnerable and frozen. So far I’m bossing it I’m lvl45… Dunno after today’s patch.

Invest in glass cannon definitely worth it. And find aspects that increase your damage against chilled/frozen/vulnerable enemies.

Specced Fire without really thinking and works fine. Although the playstyle feels like cheating. I basically run around like a panicking rabbit and leave red stuff on the floor that ends up killing the baddies. But hey, whatever gets me to max. level, then I’ll try to figure out the skill-puzzle.

Well that is how fire is ment to be play, it is DoT damage. In many ways that is a damage type that is suitable for many bosses too as it is risky to get in mele range, or to be static.

One have to find a core element and stick to it.

Then again mixing it up can work but then it is all about synergys, what works well with what.

Im using arc lash, chain lightning and vyr`s mastery so i am firmly in lighting when it comes to the element aspect, but i allso use teleport and ice armor for protection and Frost nova for the vulnerable effect. My enchants are both fire, 1 point in fireball and firewall as their enchant bonuses are just very nice.

One would think this sort of mixing dont play well, but it does using alot of passive nodes.

So op, find a primary and 1 core skill that works for you, and build around them. You should aim for 1 primary, 2 core, 2 defence/utility and 1 ulti.
When it comes to gear you want to primary look for int and willpower stats.

And if you still cant make up your mind, fire dot damage is strong in the early game and dont require a single special item, but on the down side, you have low single target damage. ( things die aslong as you live, but it just takes a very, very long time. If you go this route you need to find something else for when you are nearing lv50)

Skills
-Frost Bolt with Glinting Frost Bolt
-Ice Shard with Destructive Ice Shard
-Ice Armor with just Enhanced Armor
-Blizzard with Wizard’s Blizzard
-Deep Freeze
-Avalanche

Passives
-Devastation with Elemental Dominance
-Glass Cannon
-Align the Elements with Mana Shield
-Permafrost, Hoarfrost, Icy Touch and Frigid Breeze

I’m killing everything, single target/cleave and AoE. No issues with mana.
You are welcome.
