I’ve progressed throughout the main campaign and am now lvl 55 in Tier 3. First I was excited to get to Tier 3; however after a few hours the game feels stale. I am quite frankly not sure what to do now that I find interesting.
I could do all the dungeons, which would take a fair amount of time and all queedited by moderationsts, but that is just repetition very early in the game.
I feel like I’m missing something. It could be that I play solo 95% of the time and the fact there aren’t any “Global Chat Channel” I’m aware off so the game could feel alive. All i’m doing is the same thing over and over again to no clear end.
That being said, I havent read into what the D4 team will bring to the table further down the line, but only a few days in the game and it feels empty to me.
Any ideas of what I could do to feel the game more engaging?

Diablo is nothing but endless act is of doing the same thing over and over until you reach the lv cap and paragon cap(in D3 there was no paragon lv cap so it was infinite grinding). When that is done, you either hunt for a place on the leaderboard when that is released, do pvp, make an alt, or quit the game.
And that is for vanlilla. Seasons if they are following the path of D3, will be just the same expect with a day 1 account, only thing you would possibly get to keep is the cosmetics.
If you question these things now this early, this might not be the game for you.
You mould the game into your own experience, it is an rpg after all, play it like one, might find your fun there.
You knew EXACTLY what kind of game Diablo was before purchasing it… don’t feign ignorance.
go to Tier 4 for example
follow achievements for others ideas
u can try to start an hardcore character too…
it’s a challenging challenge to play hardcore
and anyway we are all waiting for the season
you have to follow at last 1 quest from tree of whisper
get a sigil, grow it doing this to reach 70+
then should go to nightmere
NO.
No one had any idea of the late game content before purchasing the game. Stop trying to be an (insert your own) and maybe be a bit nicer to people.

Er, Diablo has always been a loot grinder… if you think otherwise you’re only fooling yourself.
Diablo has also always been a solo experience and you joined up with friends for fun. This game is not that at all so why would people think that the rest of the game would be predictable before launch ?

Solo or not is irrelevant, you’re still doing the same thing at the end… grinding out for better gear in higher difficulties.
this game was also sold on the fact that it would be a different kind of Diablo, a better Diablo (which it is imo).
Things can be improved upon, but Diablo’s literal essence is it being a loot grinder… how hard is that to understand?
I understand it perfectly but then again I have been playing this game for decades at this point.
There are however, a cart load of new players to this particular game that have never played a Diablo game before and the way you spoke to OP made you come off as very elitist.

start doing the same stuff over and over again to improve your gear, this is what the game is all about.
You messed up. You finished the campaign too quickly. Diablo 4 is a fine wine that you are supposed to savour over time, enjoying all of the flavours.
You treated it like a beer to be downed as fast as possible. So my advice is to move on to the next beer i.e next game and leave Diablo 4 to the rest of us.
And that goes for all the speed runners out there. You impress no one and you only hurt yourself.
I am barely starting Act 2 now and I started playing early access.

I’m taking my sweet time in my first playthrough, doing all the side quests… level 56, still yet to finish the campaign.
Was nice coming across the long side quest that…
SPOILERS
… lead to the area we saw in the intro with Lilith’s introduction
Though said area the dead characters from the intro look nothing like that in-game…
Or seeing what happened to characters such as the Heroes from earlier games you played as, like the Paladin from D2, or Companions from D3

Same here with taking my time, I’m just about to hit lvl49 and I have been playing since EA.
Such a great game (has a couple of issues but time will refine those) I don’t see the point in rushing to finish the story, I just wanna wonder the world and see whats out there.
p.s. I haven’t even unlocked my horse yet.
Waits for the DLC at 39.99.
