the summoning of necromancer in this game was supposed to be gamebreaking and new,
we cant mix and MATCH summons in terms of shield/reaper/base
you pick 1 categori and thats it, it feels horrible 
you really had a chance to make something unique where your forming your own army, and controlling them, you have the button to summon each skeleton with ease, by just spamming it, you should be able to mix your perfect army
also its very clear to see that your necromancer skill tree was made last, it has fewer overall skills and alot of passive notes instead

I gave up on the necromancer after getting to level 7. The skeletons had ‘jerky’ motion everywhere. Not smooth at all.

Necromancer is OP, by the time you get to lvl 15 and have both reapers and mages unlocked in the book of the dead it’s point and forget. Something tells me you’re probably not playing it as intended… I’m destroying with the Necromancer.

its not about being OP , its about the class fantasy failing, its not FUN, its boring, LAST epoch and even poe does the summons so much better with diversity in your skeletons and zombies, here your locked to 1 type of skeletons and 1 type of mage… i couldnt care less about the dps, i played it to its fullest and got what i needed, yes its strong but boring to control your minions

They did implement a solution to that… play another class. Not everything can be for everyone’s taste, that’s asking too much.

so when your class fantasy is playing a summoning necro and love that playstyle and diablo have had them since diablo 2 you want me to play something else, what a bozo take, what are you even on about o,O

So we have reached an impasse I guess hence many people including us are like it. Try other toons then or follow the emotional path, up to you ^^

I don’t think you have more hours and more achieves than me including d2 and d3 but this is completely not the point nor conclusion logical person should draw ^^

I agree. Necro in Last Epoch is 20000 times better. Another fail for Blizzard
the biggest fail of the Necromancer, is that is it tremendously over powered. It is no fun to play because everything except for bosses dies in a single hit. Play necro for a bit, then go play barb or druid (which at this time are the 2 weakest classes)

jerky motions can be fixed by just restarting the game. at least that worked for me.
i love the necro. finally back to D2 feeling, not that stupid need to re-cast the minions all the time like it was in D3.
and yes, its very strong in the first 25 levels.
but please prevent using the stupid term “OP”
we have no idea about how the endgame will be.
Ya my performance was janky compared to first weekend. I really think necro might be the problem. And the new gpu nvidia driver lol. No more bets for me.
1 necro = 4x sorc, 2x rogue from my playtime. Didn’t play other classes.
That’s just your own opinion. I liked the Necromancer is D2, D3 and now D4. There will never be the perfect Necro you search, be 2use we’ve all different taste. But this is fine. It’s fun to play and I can already see some crazy build for HE content .
