First few rounds I get some nice mech synergy so I go for mechs.
Then at tavern 4 I keep highrolling for more mechs, and I swear didnt see any mech with 30 gold or maybe 2 bad once.
While my opponent has all the mechbuffs in the world.
Is he taking all the mechs out of the pool? How does this work? 0 logic.
There is 0 skill in this game, if one player gets a hyena/junkbot/All type poison bullshti before you, youre just dead.
Way to small healthpool to try and swing the tempo back in your favor.
Poor attempt to copy the autochess genre, those games are RNG to, but actually have some logic to them.
If you look at some of the “loading screen” tips, one of them says, if you sell something you will see it in the pool more often.
This suggests that possibly your pool in the tavern is limited. The more you took out from the same kind of thing or type, the less the tavern will have. This is why it’s good sometimes to keep the tavern level a bit lower, to restrict the rng on what can be shown.
I think.
There’s a limited amount of copies of each minion. All those copies are in a pool that is shared between all players. Higher tier minions have less available copies.
- Tier 1: 18 copies
- Tier 2: 15 copies
- Tier 3: 13 copies
- Tier 4: 11 copies
- Tier 5: 9 copies
- Tier 6: 6 copies
I did not know that! Thanks!
Seriously? that is so stupid. We dont even have the option to look at someone elses board so you could make a judgement on what to go for.
And this makes it even more RNG with only 3-4 builds available for all 8 players.
You do know what someone else has based on the fact you play against them. You know what they have.
You know their hero power to conclude what they would go for as well, so…
There is not that much rng here in my opinion.
Still a geussing game then, and besides you never always battle every opponent.
Other autochess games let you see what they have on board and what the opponent has benched.
So you can make a better call on when to swap out of a certain build.
Not that that would really work here tho, since you have nowhere near enough health to transition comp after 5-6 turns.
Since one bad loss takes away half your healthpool.
Ok…
Whats your point other you not liking it?
If you dont like it youre free to play those other games
Maybe you should try those other autochess’s and then youll know what im talking about.
Instead of coming here like im just bashing to bash.
I completely agree, like the mode but this is honestly has no reason to exist as it can cause runs to be ruined because your a mech deck and everyone else got the scrap bot or your trying for beasts but can do anything because someone bought all the hyenas after you just got all the ratpacks, there should be a set amount of copies but everyone should have their own minion pool, there have been games where i or someone else went a demon build and the juraxxus who only has murlocs quits before hes even close to death
Well fair point
But it reads a little like you are
I dont enjoy the genre in generell so id rather not.
And id rather leve then
Have a good onr
Don’t blindly try to get that one card, you don’t need synergy to win. You can win with minions from all type. You blindly look for that one card only when you are certain that you don’t have time to do anything else and dont need anything else.
Yeah, you can cry all you want, but there is a skill involved. I would recommend you to watch TidesofTime on twitch, he is no.1 in the world currently. And see what he does, sometimes he sell minion that is buffed like hell just to buy 2/2 one, the card that will win him a game 2 turns from now.
There are more then enough minions for everyone. You take a risk of loosing every time when you upgrade the tavern (tactical decision) , so its fair that the pool of minions are smaller with every tier.
For mech’s you don’t need to upgrade the tavern above tier 4. I never do, and win most of the time.
Once the oponent die, his minions are back in the pool.
Tip: don’t blindly buy every minion on board, think ahead.
PS: why even play a game you don’t enjoy. This is not very smart
Uhm my rating is like 4.9k so I dont think thats bad at all. probably average.
Yesterday I fight the same opponent twice, with one round between them of me fighting a different enemy.
This person had a voidlord on tavern 4. And did 20 damage to me the first round, and 17 the next.
You can tell me all you want, that this requires “skill”.
But there was nothing I couldve done that round. In 5 turns her powerlevel was so much higher then mine already, just cause she won the lottery.
Had 0 to do with skill.
Really wondering how you play your mechs if you never upgrade above tier 3.
I call bullsh*t tbh.
Well just because you got a few situations where you couldnt do anything which can definitly be the chase doesnt mean the game doesnt require any skill at all
This is just about alot of Luck, the skill involved is slim in this one.
In this mode you have only illusion of choose. Even if you are most knowledgeable player with tone of experience, you have very little control.
It’s cool game for people that likes to look at spinning drum of the washing machine.
If you enjoy that kind of game, cool. But it’s not my cup of tea. I hope Blizzard will not to force to play it too much.
Unless you got a good hero you will need some kind of synergy
Try winning when all your offered is mulocks, demon for buffing when you dont have demons to buff (the same demon by the way) and weak mechs like pogo hopper when you dont have a build to take advantage of it, if you cant get something buffed or something to scale stats your not getting in top spots.
Not saying theres absolutely no skill involved but rng can make skill meaningless sometimes in this mode
Ive had many games were i get stuck with murlocks because everyone else got the other tribes
Sorry if it sounds like im picking on you toma but ive played the game and seen that rng can screw me other badly (getting murlocks without proper synergys like poisonous/buffs that isnt just rockpool hunters +1/+1 or constantly getting weak minions like tabby cat or mecharoo after taverning up) or hand me a win (being mucklas and given all the best beasts, was a fun game).
Yes there is a rng involved and you can lose because of it, but to say that there is no skill as OP suggested …
And once the opponents die the minions get to the pool. Thats why you have to spot when to tier up and when to buy minions.
In alot of situations. No it does not.
If you have any base knowledge of value in this game, there is little to nothing you can do to outplay your opponent, so with so little minions in each pool. Yes its rng.
And you can say Tier up to avoid that, but you only have 40 hp and can only take 2 bad losses. And you still have to outlive your opponent for anything to get backin the pool.
By then youll be so late in the game tho that youll only need those cards to maybe hit a triple.
My idea … perfect with one word.
