on PC with good internet (if Virgin is good lol) often since new season the game freezes I cant interact with anything but the timer is still counting down. it doesn’t release until the chord is burning and is about 50% through. had that a few times now 
Last season I had it a couple of times where if you interacted with everything you would find the bugged thing but this season its different I haven’t found a way to make it work again.
update:
Today (12/12/2024) after a 15 second freeze the game told me I was out of time like the timer ended, I was about 50% through a 120 timer so hadn’t even got to the cord yet. Thankfully rage swiping every item in the tavern and in my hand seemed to unlock it and I was able to carry on.
