[BUG] Zixor breaks Lorekeeper Polkeit

Hello, everyone! After years of playing Hearthstone, I think I finally did it - I came across a legit bug! Here is the replay (excuse the formatting; can’t post links):

As you can see, I played Lorekeeper Polkeit on turn 4. As expected, I draw a Siamat on turn 5. I then play a Zixor, which my opponent kills on turn 6, so Zixor Prime gets shuffled into my deck. I then proceed to draw a Desert Spear on turn 6 and Primordial Explorer on 7.

The way I understand Lorekeeper Polkeit’s card text, the Zixor Prime should be shuffled into an already reordered deck. However, it seems to completely reset the deck order. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

It’s not a bug, it’s how it’s conceived.
Polkeit reorders the deck, but as soon as something gets shuffled in the deck, as just said, the deck gets shuffled and the effect from Polkeit is cancelled. I think they even specified that in an early question about the expansion and specified it was designed that way, so can be countered by cards that shuffles stuff in your deck, and requires a specific deck building around.
Personally speaking i think it’s right this way, it’s only logic. When you play a physical card game and shuffle a card in the deck you change the order. If you want to keep it in your deck probably you’ll have to consider playing him after shuffling Zixor, or if you haven’t drawn the beast.

I see now - your explanation makes sense! I must have missed the post, where the card was discussed. Now that you explained it, it’s only logical that they designed it that way. Thank you for replying!

Glad to see someone explain this. Also missed this post, this has happened so many times on freeze mage, now I know to never put a minion in my deck!
