I logged in to see all of my decks are incomplete now. I googled, and see its happened before.
I’ve tried relogging, and checking for filters.
The thing is, the cards that are missing – they’re not just taken from my possession, they appear to have been completely removed from the game.
Take “sacrificial pact” for instance. I went into crafting and tried to find it. It’s not there. None of the missing cards exist anymore, not even to view or craft. Searching for any of them gets a “not found in wild” or something. (I usually play wild and it’s what my game is currently set on.)
So… what’s happening? To see this many cards removed from even wild mode, I don’t know what to think.

Considering your description of the situation chances are there is just a bit of confusion here.
For example the card you mentioned - Sacrificial Pact - is part of the Basic set, which is currently available only in Standard and is intended to not be usable in Wild, reason why it does not appear if you are prepping a Wild deck.
The card is however still in-game, you’ll just need to switch from Wild to Standard.
Considering the message “not found in wild” chances are that the above applies to all the other cards you are “missing”.
The easiest way to check would be to open the collection for your account, set the filter - via the small button in the lower left corner - to “Standard Cards” and then search for them. If you find them there it simply means that those cards can not be indeed used in Wild format, but they are still available in general for your account in case you decide to play Standard.
I agree there is a whole load of cards removed, specifically after todays patch. I have a load of mechs missing it seems, they are not in standard anymore. I also do not agree that standard cards cannot be used in wild, we have always been able to use standard in wild so why the change? Im am thinking Blizzards broken the patch here and introduced some un-intended changes…
The fix for me seems to be go to my collection, open the deck with missing cards, click “done” then open and “done” again.
Can confirm the above worked for me.
All my decks showed missing cards (the missing cards were golden copies)
Worked for me as well for decks with missing goldens, some decks however are reduced to single card. Good thing I backed up decks after same thing happened a while ago. Cards not missing from the collection, just decks got broken after today’s update
well something is still broken, after starting the game in wild have “The selected deck is not valid for this mode.”
deleting and re-creating deck solved the problem
This is simply not true, or did something change in the latest patch yesterday?
Because you have allways been able to play basic cards in wild.
It’s not about setting wild or standard. All my decks were showing missing cards and i couldnt select a hero to play with because of that. A workaround was the one stated before, meaning going to your collection and pressing “done” to each deck. Only for those decks with cards that were missing for real, showed the message “click to complete deck…etc”.
