When I start the game with him it tells me ,There was an error starting your game’’ and I tested with the other classes and it works only with the Knight it doesn’t and I replaced the gold cards with normal card cause other people had the same problem and it still not letting me play with him.

No unfortunately but I see that other people have the same problem so I think it will be fixed in the next pathc
Blizzard has recently removed the Golden version of some Death Knight cards from the Core set from all players’ collections.
The reason (as explained in the patch notes) is that there was a bug previously, where players received all golden core cards on unlocking the class, whereas they should have received plain cards only, and then later earn golden cards as they level their class level. (Just as you unlocked golden core cards for other classes as you leveled those classes, when you started playing).
Decks that use a golden version of a card that you don’t own anymore cannot be queued up. The fix is to change the deck to use the regular version instead.

I bought the golden version of Arthas an many of the golden cards have also disappeared even though it was added to my collection automatically on buying the set as “Golden Arthas unholly” etc. So have a lost the golden cards that I bought. Is that correct?
Fix the deck with replacing the missing cards with the same non-golden cards. Then copy the deck and create a new one with the copied data. You can play again with the copy
That would not be correct. You might have lost golden versions of cards from the Core set, but most definitely not from “Path of Arthas”.
If you are missing golden “Path of Arthas” cards, then I recommend opening a ticket with customer support.

Thank you. I assume the core set are non-craftable as a quick way to check when hovering over the card?
All core cards are uncraftable, but not all uncraftable cards are core.
However, when you right-click any card in the collection builder, you can see what set it belongs to in the information box to the right of the card.
It worked! After it worked I tested it with the base card set and it’s not working but with the copy one it is, weird
I am still having this issue. I’ve replaced my non-golden cards, copied the deck, but it still won’t let me queue for a game on my death knight, and only death knight.
@Karawaka: The official workaround is to delete the deck and then create it again, not from a deck code but by manually adding the cards one by one (so probably best to make a screenshot of the deck before deleting it).
Did you try that?
