Played a (buggy) round of BG using Dragons, I didn’t see any of the combats so which Dragons were given the +2/2 & shield from Amber Guardian I can’t say, but the shield wasn’t being saved by the adjacent Persistent Poet in those rounds - one very early round I saw and it was applied to Dozy Whelp & stayed, other rounds it wasn’t present in the recruit phase on any other dragon.
