Extreme Lag Since Performance Update

Hi, since the performance update I have experienced extreme lag to the point where Battlegrounds is almost unplayable, missing purchases, floating gold etc. because of it. Everything is slow and when the display shows me I have 10 seconds left, the turn is over all of a sudden. The main mode is affected a bit too. I notice it when I tap with Warlock, for instance, where there is a small but very noticeable delay. Otherwise it’s mostly fine as far as I have noticed.

I have tried power cycling my router, flushed DNS, updated GPU drivers etc. Closing other open programs or reducing the game quality does not improve performance. I am not on WiFi. Ping is 17 ms. Connection is 50 Mbps up and 10 Mbps down. I tested the speed. Before the update I had no performance issues at all on highest settings.

I have a Radeon RX 480 4 GB, Intel Core i5 6600K, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 64 bit.

Hey buddy,

Sorry to hear about your performance issues. I see you have tried a few fixes already but please double check this article. Work through the steps there making sure to do the Advanced ones also :slight_smile:

I have already done everything listed in that article. Including reinstalling the game completely and the advanced stuff. I also have an SSD. I know it is hard to believe, but I really don’t think it is my system but rather an interplay between system and whatever the update did.

Update: Decided to run Battlegrounds again today and performance is fine after weeks of lag. Not sure what changed though. I supposed this is solved for now. Thank you.
