Game crashing when purchasing new chapter

Hearthstone keeps crashing on my iPhone 8 iOS 13.2.3, when I try to purchase a new chapter in solo adventure.
I have tried to delete the app and reinstall it, but it doesn’t help

So sorry to hear that you’re having troubles purchasing some new adventures to embark upon on your Apple devices!

I’d recommend working through our Mobile Crash article, but if that doesn’t help, you’ll ultimately need to reach out to Apple support, since we can’t provide direct support for their hardware.

This happens to me as well, on a clean reset of iPad Air 2. OS 13 something.

I will test tonight if it’s only when attempting to purchase with gold. Will report back during the day.

My workaround so far was to just buy it on a PC. Oh well.

Nope, as soon as I click the button to buy, it crashed out. Don’t even get to the selection of gold or money.

Happens to me too. Ipad (2017) with ios 12.4

It was working fine before the update that came out about a week ago…

This is happening to me as well, even when just trying to unlock a new chapter, not just purchasing a new one. I have an iPhone XS running iOS 13.2 and game updated to the latest release.
Since the crash is not caused by a failed payment attempt, It doesn’t look like an hardware problem to me so why should we contact Apple Support?
It’s clearly Hearthstone developers that have to fix this bug.

Same thing here - crashes, and all my updates are done.

How am I calmly answer to that? Is this a joke? At the bottom of Apple’s troubleshooting guide is EXACTLY the same advice: contact the third party developer’s customer support as they can’t provide support for third party apps.

Can someone answer to that comprehensively please?

@blizzard support sorry guys but you must find a way to solve this. Eventually you will lose players.
