Graveyards? Not acting like actual card game?

so I’ve noticed that when a card that states ‘resummon’ a minion that has died this game, it actually just summons a copy, because you can stack resummon dead minion plays with only one dead minion in the graveyard and get multiple copies of that 1 said minion. As someone who played MTG irl thats not how card games work, u have one in your graveyard, u bring it back to play. Unless its a ‘summon copy/copy minion’ the resummon would fizzle because the graveyard is empty. How does the graveyard actually work on this game then? And I believe the card should be rewritten or changed how it treats the graveyard. I made a ticket about this but apparently GMs can’t do anything so I gotta post it here…

This is not Magic the Gathering, so do not apply it’s rules to a different game.

There is no graveyard in HS, discarded cards are gone forever. Like Exile in MTG but not quite as you never interact with it. All cards that retrieve discarded cards or resummon dead minions make copies instead.

Its a card game. Card games have graveyards. Where else do u put the card when it dies irl? Burn it to ashes? MTG is an example

how is this supposed to be a technical issue? you just want to change the rules of the game!

You can see what happens to cards when they get discarded from hand or overdrawn. They burn to ash. This is an online CCG it doesn’t need a graveyard. Graveyard was a mechanic in MTG precisely because the cards had to go somewhere once they’d been removed from the battlefield, HS does not have that issue. So no HS doesn’t NEED a graveyard, even if having one would open up new design options.
