It’s so annoying. For 3-4 months I haven’t been able to use the tradeable mechanic on my laptop, because as soon as the card hovers over the deck, the client crashes.
This is a problem that many has reported:
None seem to have found a solution, but they were posted a while ago. Has anyone who suffers from this found a solution?
I’m worried that the same bug will happen with the new Forge mechanic, but while tradeable is a mechanic you kind of can ignore, Forge is very much meant to be used so it’s gonna feel so bad if I can’t use it.
I mailed Blizzard support but they just gave the normal “update your drivers and Windows”-response.
This seems like a video card problem, happened me simillar when tried to use my weak laptop. I suggest you to check the video options and change some of them. Figure it out by testing, because I use tradeable cards in my libram deck and had no crashes. I am using high quality settings with fast frame rate. (Nvidia GTX 1050 TI) Try to play with these settings a little I think. What kind of video card do your PC, laptop has? Trading card process have a special video effect, I think that may cause your crash. Or try to use low quality settings.
I hope that helps, but if not… try to run the game fixer tool, check the game files, maybe some of them damaged.
I also had some lag issues with the first match everyday until the game was installed on a HDD, since changed to SSD, it is perfect.
I also have got that problem. I’ve noticed that the game crashes when I try to drag card over the deck. It’s so annoying, because forge mechanism works properly.
My drivers are up to date, but my graphic card is quite old. I have win 10 and card with GE series 9.
I have same problem but funny thing is i managed to trade 1 card today. No idea why it didn’t crash my game, after that one trade it went back to crashing game though.
