Hey guys, it’s freakin March now, and the issue STILL isn’t resolved. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my iPad, problem still persists. FIX THIS!
Same problems here, did the recent update and now app crashes. Did the re-install as well and still crashing on load screen. On a Chromebook.
I’m having this issue on my Iphone XS. My memory isn’t an issue. Its been happening for the last month or so.
iPad 6th gen, latest iOS, 7gb of free storage.
Crashes after opening, crashes before opening, crashes at end of game, crashes mid-game.
After ‘offloading’ the app and re-installing, and restarting the ipad, it seems to fix it for a while. But eventually the issues come back.
Maybe there’s some cache that needs to be emptied, which isn’t getting taken care of. Not sure how the iOS environment works.
Recently returned to the game! Crashes right from the installation. Returned my IPad Air to the basic settings, reinstalled the game, still crashes, and when it’s not crashes, it wait when I relax a bit and then crash.

I to have this problem the app crashes nonstop and then I can’t connect back again there is nothing wrong with my iPad Pro and neither with the WiFi, I have around 200GB free of 256GB so why does It still crash seriously annoyed as its close to impossible to play in ranked mode if you keep getting disconnected and losing stars because of it:(

Anyway, my opponent was deliberately roping every turn in a game I played just now, so as he was doing so I was reading Twitter while he did nothing for 90 seconds. On one turn I switched app for around 45 seconds and when I came back to HS, It crashed. No big deal, so I killed the app and opened it again. The game proceeded to crash 10-15 times at the “resuming game” part until I presume I lost by default.
I’m back in now but there seems to be some ongoing problems with how the game reconnects while a game is ongoing on iPad mini (newest model).
It’s all the more annoying as a deliberately roping opponent got a free win out of it.
And on a separate note, please create a speed mode standard option for those who don’t like waiting 90 seconds for our opponents to do nothing every turn.
I have the same problem here on iPad Pro and iPhone XS. When will this be fixed?
Still nothing fixed. I feel like it s worse than before. Like a week ago I was disconnected after I have played a game and had to restrat the app a couple times. Now it has evolved: it crashes during a game. And most of the time it doesn t reconect.
Please do something already bc this is not the device or wifi problem- it s the app…
Me too. It has become untenable this week. It’s actually kicking me off WiFi in the middle of the game, then immediately reconnecting. Sometimes it just goes incredibly slow and hangs in the middle of (for example) my minion attacks, causing me to lose. No such problems with other games/apps on my iPad, nor on hearthstone on my iPhone, so I don’t believe it’s a problem with my network or hardware.
I’m on a 5th gen iPad (32gb, WiFi only), iPadOS is up to date (13.3.1). Please fix!
Its the typical Blizzard thing that happens. They fix/update ONE thing and break 4 other things that worked perfectly fine before in the process. It is nothing new for them, however certain issues like the crashing one seem to keep appearing, which makes me think it’s a deeper coding issue of the game itself that would require a complete reprogramming (which they obviously will not do) in order to permanently fix this. So rather than doing it once for real AND properly, they keep fixing the result and not the root of the problem.
ALSO may I add that for me on my ipad pro 12.9 (which was bought in April 2014) this crashing exclusively happens when I am in a game and then press the power button (i usually do that when I’m in a friendly game with my husband and he is roping due to having something else to do quickly) so the rope doesnt end the opponents turn. And then when I try to get back in it keeps crashing on “reconnecting to your game”. I then go to the PC and connect from there and it’s fine. After that particular game is finished, I can play fine on my iPad again. Maybe the info helps.
i must add, i have a issue which seems similar. whenever i open the app on my iphone 11 Pro Max it just bugges out. turns the screen for 90degrees and then stops the process. i can`t get it to work anymore. it used work perfect.
Still crashes on my ipad air. Can’t even login anymore after reinstalling the game.
