The game disconnects completely and doesn’t let me resume sometimes when I minimize it on android. I’m pretty sure it isn’t intended because 2/3 times I can actually do it and resume properly. Sometimes the game disconnects mid game as well and my internet is not the problem so I will blame this on the app.

Could you please check if the issue persists with a different connection?
Please try also clearing your app’s cache and data and restart your device before re-launching the app again. You’ll find the options I mentioned in your phone’s Settings menu (apps > Hearthstone).
Please make also sure your OS is updated to the latest version!
