I know it’s easy to unlock the fps on Windows and iOS/Android, using the options.txt file. However I can’t find it anywhere on Mac. There are previous instructions about it being in /Library/Blizzard/Hearthstone/options.txt – but there are no Hearthstone folders in the Library folder anywhere that I can find. It seems like it’s changed since these instructions were posted (years ago).
Does anybody know how to do it on MacOS in 2019?
There’s really no reason why my iMac should limit the FPS to 30…
hey mate ! did u solve the problem? tell me
The file is here:
/System/Volumes/Data/Users/pzartem/Library/Preferences/Blizzard/Hearthstone/options.txt
You need to add/edit these params into the file. You can set any fps here:
vsync=0
targetframerate=120

Thanks a lot!!! It works!!!
I’m having an issue finding the options.txt file. For some reason, my hearthstone folder is in my applications folder, but there is no options file in it. My Blizzard folder is also in a slightly different place (Users>Shared>Blizzard) separate from my named user folder, and the only thing in the folder is my Battle.net folder. Ty for help <3

Did you figure it out? I have the same issue
Hi. My ticket number is EU94770277. İts have been seven days. No answer? What should i do?
For people still looking for it, the options.txt file is located here: “~/library/Preferences/Blizzard/Hearthstone”
The library is hidden until you press the option key in the Finder “Go” menu.
