Intel Celeron N3350 processor, need confirmation will run Hearthstone

I’m looking to buy a laptop, and have just gotten off the phone with the manufacturer’s technical support, who have told me they are unable to confirm whether the laptop’s processor will be able to run Hearthstone. They told me to contact Blizzard technical support to confirm whether this is possible (apparently there is a list of processors that it can be checked against), which I did… and was promptly forwarded here.

The processor is:

  • Intel Celeron N3350 processor
  • Dual core processor
  • 1.1GHz processor speed with a burst speed of 2.4GHz

I would really appreciate it if someone official could confirm that this processor will run Hearthstone. I’m hoping to get the laptop as soon as possible, one of the main reasons being to play some Hearthstone!

Edit: Short of an official response, if anyone else out there is currently running Hearthstone on the above processor, confirmation that it works would be appreciated.

The minimum and recommended requirements for Hearthstone can be found in here.

Other than that, it is quite difficult to answer a query like this without actually having a system with the exact specs, so I would suggest that you investigate a bit more on this. Things to keep in mind while you research this are:

  • the processors, that are in the minimum requirements page are roughly a bit over 15 years old, that makes them from a CPU lifetime standpoint fairly old. The processor that you mention is about 5 years old, so it is a much newer technology.

  • the processor that you mention is for low power laptops. That is usually indicative of lower performance, than desktop counterparts.
