I have been a long time player playing on both PC and mobile. Since the introduction of DoD I am experiencing stuttering/lag when playing on PC. Mobile does not have the same issue.
The stutter occurs at specific time, about halfway thorough every animation. Does not matter if this is a card animation or animation of card being played or moved to battlefield. It does not matter if this is my card or opponents card.
I am in the UK and I have fast 50 mbit connection to the internet with 20 mbit upload speed. Connectivity is working as expected and I have not changed my configuration in a while.
I am running 4th gen i5 paired with 16gb of ram and gtx 1080. The spec has always been more then enough to run every game at high settings.
I have a 2 screen set up with both running 2560x1440 resoution. One of the screens is a 144hz g sync display.
