When trying to upgrade abilities or gear for Mercenaries, the game sometimes briefly freezes, and then either kicks you back to the main menu or back to the Mercenary collection. However, the upgrade that was purchased didn’t occur, while the coins did get consumed. This has happened multiple times today already with multiple mercenaries.
Edit: Upgrade did occur, required game restart. Looks like a UI bug.
