I never had any problems with the sound in Hearthstone, but now it is completely gone. I have checked and followed all troubleshooting solutions on the forums/tech support, but nothing helps. Playing Hearthstone without any sound is just not the same, can anyone help me here?

Do you have any applications on your laptop that configure the sound for you? For example, MSI Nahimic or ASUS Sonic Studio? If you do, try disabling those for now and retest.

None of those applications are on my laptop (Alienware 15 R3, i7-6700HQ). Nothing changed with whatever I tried, reinstalling didn’t help either. I find it quite odd that all of the sudden the sound has stopped, without me changing anything to settings, every other (blizzard-) games do not have a sound problem, just Hearthstone…

Well the problem has resurfaced brand new computer with Asus ROG strix 450-f. I have no sound in Heartstone. Diablo works fine.

Should it not solve your problem, just reply back to this thread with your system files added via Pastebin so we can have a look.
