Base on all the tricks and effect I have seen from previous set, I think I can answer this.
When silas dark moon was played, if the end effect of the card stays on Ur side of the field it is considered you played a 7 mana card which will corrupt Ur card.
Since the end effect causes the card to shift to the opponent board, it dosent acknowledge that you played a 7mana card cause by the end of the effect it is no where found in your side of the field.
For spells, it’s automatically resolves on your side of the board.
So basically the word “play” needs to be resolved on your side of the board to be considered played.

Any cards involuntarily or randomly lost from your hand are not considered played.

To summarize, Silas dark moon effect which switches himself to the enemy board before the card effect resolves is not considered played cause the card is lost in your side of the field.
