Receving a duplicate signature

Greetings,

I just purchased the Early Wonders Bundle. I already owned al legendaries that could roll signature in some form, so I figured if I disenchant my Patches the Pirate, I’d get him as a signature because of the duplicate protection. I was pretty disappointed I got Y’shaarj, which was already present. Is there any way this can be resolved?

It seems you didn’t check the rules for duplicate protection when you decided to disenchant a card.

Duplicate protection does not look at your current collection. It looks at all the cards that you own or ever have owned. This is to ensure that people can safely disenchant a card that they don’t want, and they can be sure they won’t roll it again until after they have all the cards that they do want. (Before the introduction of this rule, the forums were swamped with complaints from people who had, for instance, dusted Lorewalker Cho and were very upset to open him again, instead of the much better Legendaries of that time that they were still waiting for.

Ah well, that’s 800 dust down the drain. Should’ve read the rules better!
