With the release of the Emerald Dream expansion on the 25th of March 2025, we are also celebrating the start of the Year of the Raptor.
As with each year rotation, this also means a new update to the Core Set and Cards. More details and a full list of cards that are leaving and entering the new Core Set is available in the following article:
Direct links to the list of cards (in text and graphic format) is also available directly from the following links:

Is there any way to distinguish between the temporary cards from the core set and the cards that I already owned and that are now part of the core set? It would really help to avoid the confusion every time cards disappear from my collection each year. For example, I already had Lorewalker Cho before the card became core. I don’t see any indication that the card is not the temporary card that is added. Will it then disappear from my collection when not leaves core???
Also, I pre purchased the Emerald Dream cards and unpacked them before they were officially available. After opening the packs I disenchanted duplicates with the automatic disenchant feature. Now I see a whole range of cards that can be disenchanted. Just want to make sure that these are the duplicates from the new packs and that they could not be disenchanted before they were officially available.
I REALLY hope some modifications are made so that it becomes less confusing to players as to why cards are gone all of a sudden. A ‘glow’ or something that indicates a card being temporary (only if it was not in the collection already of course) would really help.
Kind regards
