Since queing with the wrong Deck isnt a Bug .... Hack the System Reno Warrior

Hello!

I just tried to make a fun Wild Casual Only Hack the System Singleton Deck

when i played the first round the quest (yes i put the quest in, i looked it up after the game) wasnt in my starting hand.

You guys saw something like this?

i thought i ask here and if anyone knows anything

else ill take it to the bug forum

thanks

Well that definitely sounds like a bug…unless you accidentally mulliganed it away

Didnt even get to  ill try it again and if its the same ill Report

I guess your opponent hacked the system first that match, right?

a sheep a drum and a snake falls down the tree

baaa dumm tssss

oh damn … i found the reason …

when youre really tired and you play warrior before and then dont notice you forgott to switch the deck then there is no hack the System in the starting Hand …

who would have thought

lol but the Deck is really cool

just beat a Taunt controll Warrior with double Dr. Boom and double the Taunt Deathrattle Dino (thanks to Dead Mans Hand) wiht it

Honestly Hack the System is much better when you can heal yourself up again with Reno

Do you run cards like Fool’s Bane?
I remember running that card in a deck with Violet Ilusionists Upgrades and Naga Corsair and the 4 mana 3/3 taunt, it was an aggro deck, I’d often exhaust them and pull a 7/4 arcanite reaper out of no where for the win

well the deck is far from finished  but very fun

i took it together when i nearly slept on my keyboard yesterday

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

thats the deck

i really wanted to have the Bloody Leeroy combo in it  which allready won me games

so thats the two reasons why greenskin and better weapons are missing

ill take a look on the deck later again but suggestions are very welcome

will think about chagning darius, comanding shout and Woodcutters Axe while cooking

Well deaths bite is one of the best weapons ever, so that should be in there. Also Grom will win you so many games if you have him.

Bit weird to see so much of the pyro + acolyte draw package, without either but not consistent enough in a highlander deck. Still might be worth running an acolyte, seeing as you have so many ways to damage it.

How fast do you usually get the quest done?
I think you have too many weapons by turn 3 and they’re low impact if you ask me, both the 3 mana 2/2 and the 3 mana 3/2, I know “there’s more to weapons” but I like to think of them this way, You’re always short on mana with (this) warrior and the tempo you get for the mana is half the tempo shaman, rogue or hunter gets, it’s good you have such reactive cards cause you play from behind until you get the hero power which is really sweet tempo.
I’m just not sure which other weapons and what tempo choices you could have, until I get home I’d say Deathbait instead of waraxe and Corsair instead of Darius, I’d also add Acolyte as you can often make sure you draw 3 with your deathrattles and I think you’d want heavier draw

Well so far im only 3:0 on Rank 15 in Wild Ladder … (300% winrate)

so far the draw isnt missing because i try to play it tempo like and when the hero power is online you got much much value as we know.

but my example Games are Simply to low to say something definitly

i beat Taunt controll Warrior, Quest Inspire Priest and Aggro Rogue (not ODD)

ill work around on this list and tell you what i missed or what i need

Rank 15 doesn’t count, that’s where the experimenters live

Definitely consider acolyte, assuming you add in a deathsbite then it’s so good off the weapons whirlwinds that you lose minimum tempo, to gain a lot of value. Still could definitely be wrong though but seems almost strictly better than shield block (your deck doesn’t use armour outside of staying alive off weapon swings) and commanding shout, even though that’s one of my favourite cards.

Definitely think you’re right to identify woodcutters axe as your weakest weapon. I don’t think you actually have too many as you wana be swinging nearly every turn of the game and I think the highlander nature makes it seem like you have more than you do.

Well now I might have to make myself a wild quest warrior than runs tentacle for arms. Oh I can even turn it into a dead man’s hand suffocation deck…Toad what have you done

muaghahahahhahahahaha

well  i think i did something cool :stuck_out_tongue:

btw. when you have reno in time all your trading with the face is meaningless  it won me the game against the warrior for sure. so consider a Reno Quest Warrior

i like the idea of the acolyte over the shieldblock

youre right i dont use armor too much. I allready cut Shiedslam because of that and i wanted to get the Leeroy Wombo Combo through anyway.

ill do that :kissing:

look, how cool, I beat meme decks too with my op exodia mage, thing is I have hundreds of games already with it and I barely lost any

@Ixnay what do you think of Corsair instead of Crawly, I played with him before and the bigger difference in my eyes is Crawly being a 5 mana 3 hp pseudo-taunt while corsair is a 0 mana 3 hp real taunt

In my standard version I run corsair but not Crowley, enough said?

Might be right to run 3 rush minions minions with 1 town crier though cough Zilliax cough so I don’t mind Crowley as it can be a genuine game winning threat that has to be answered. But I definitely agree with your assessment of corsair > Crowley, just don’t think Crowley is the 30th card in the deck. I’ll actually open HS at some point and take a look as I think Toad’s deck has got a solid 25/30 card slots that I think are perfect and then the last 5 I’m trying to rack my brain as to what I think should be there instead. Deathsbite, Grom, Corsair, Zilliax, Acolyte for woodcutter’s axe, commanding shout, shield block, upgrade, Crowley in those orders is what springs to mind, but I’m no doubt forgetting something to add. Additional value of subbing out the weakest spells for minions is to increase the chance of battle rage value.

I like that

Like i said i was really tired so the deck needs fine tuning.

Ill definitly look into your suggestions

Grom was my second legendary after jaraxus so i ve got a special connection to him after all.

Initually i didnt take it in because the Mercanary leeroy combo can do way more dmg at 10 mana and i pulled it off in a third of my games do far

Swing deaths bite on 7, Grom + swing for 14 damage for 1 card on 8

Or inner rage + Grom for 12 on any turn after 8 :slightly_smiling_face:

I really don’t Like Grom in this deck mates, you already have better late game tempo with hero powering twice so a weapon already beats him for me, plus, the burst isn’t that much, I think you first have to get to punch your opponent and then to kill them, I don’t think you need more mana restrictions with this one and an 8 mana finisher that needs a second activator card is terribly good at being that

I know…

Still… i was tired  the point is i also i tried to keep the mana curve as low as possible

Ill try it
