I’ve tried to play dalaran heist solo adventure and Tombs of terror. When selecting starting deck for yourself the option “random deck” actually offers the default deck instead.
This happends 100% of the time after new expansion.
Edit. Actually now that i’ve tested this even more. No matter what deck you choose , you always get the default one.

Came here to say this, I made sure to check to see if I’m actually selecting the random deck for three times, same result every time.
I’ve got the same problem, you think they are paying attention to the game mode?
Same. After they removed the Duels, I started playing Solo adventures, and I am tired of having the same deck all the time. I wonder if they’re going to fix this.

Also suffering from this issue. It has been this way since June.
