Tablet did an update for HS but cannot complete the update when it asks me to go to google play store where it asks me to log in to google authentication when I am logged into google. Confused

Sorry to hear that you are having a Google authentication problem when updating your Hearthstone game on your tablet.
I hope it has been sorted in the meanwhile, but if it was not the case, you should definitely contact Google support as your issue seems to be related to the Google Authentication system and not the game itself.
Hopefully they should be able to assist you further on this.
