The enemy team has 5 spots for people without brain, useless picks, bad draft, afk, toxic etc. Your team only has 4 (assuming you aren’t one of them). This means you just need to play enough games to counteract unlucky rng. Good luck!

You can’t “counteract” unlucky rng. If the slot machine gives you 3 different icons you can’t save the situation even if the slot machine gives you a 4th slot. You lose that draft either way.
10hrs of games? A match is average of 15-35minutes. Come back when you’ve done 300+ matches and ended up exactly where you ended after your placements. I think your expectation of progress is a little high if you expected to gain ranks that easily. You’ve got to be ready to grind, and pray you get your promotion before the inevitable losing streak hits after the win-streak that got you there.
Just keep at it.

You can lower the effects of unlucky games/drafts/teams by playing more games. Its a lot easier to have a 100% winrate over 2 games than over 100 games.

How can you lower the effects of unlucky games by playing more games?
win ~190 pts
lose ~215 pts
MM system ~50% winrate
5 win = 950 pts
5 loss = -1075 pts
6 wins will makes you gain back and add more pts
5 wins will not give you back the amount lost of pts lost
that means that with a 50% winrate goal you will ultimately forever climb down the ladder
UNLESS… You get lucky the MM system miss-calculates and gives you stomp matches where you are able to reach the next “checkpoint” only to try your luck there… that 50% luck could get unlucky any match and send you back down again.
So who said that this MM system places players in the ranks they deserve? Players are being forced down a rank they don’t deserve.
MM system needs innovations… New bright minds needs to get creative to solve the out-dated MM system that exists in the company so many players love.

It’s because all the good people have been banned or quit.
And anyone remaining trying to do HL are all the people who spam-report anyone for trying to tell them not to feed, or 1v4, or help, or don’t use ults on nothing, or when to get camps and when not.
That, and, people who have lost their main accounts to those above idiots who now just make throw-away-smurf-accounts, so they don’t really care about their own team.
Blizz made a bad community.

This man is so stup*d i swear…and Blizzard either…they just follow these ppls wich create this MM or MMR and add it in HoTS…i think about different MM from so long time…you can read all my better ideas,mechanics,rules,quests,modes…here
