Recently we’ve seen some reports of streamers experiencing degraded performance while streaming Heroes of the Storm. If you use streaming software and you’re seeing frame rate drops in-game or dropped frames on the stream, we would recommend trying to disable Windows Game Mode in the Windows Game Bar options to see if that improves things.
We recommend the following steps:
1) Launch Heroes of the Storm
2) Start the Windows Game Bar (Windows Key + G)
3) Press the cogwheel icon to open the Settings menu
4) Uncheck “Use Game Mode for this game”
5) Resume streaming
Additionally - Ensure that you have the High Performance power plan set in your Windows power management settings.
