Keyboard Layout Change option disappears from Windows when starting HotS

I have two problems with Heroes of the Storm

  1. Launching game using Blizzard launcher doesn’t automatically log me into the game, but instead puts me to log in screen with US default region (instead of EU where I am currently playing) and I need to manually enter the password and change region. Neither repair nor reinstall fixed this issue.
  2. I am using two keyboard layout in Windows. One is “Czech Programmer’s” and “Czech” . Windows is running in English (as I need that for my work) and the locale is set to Denmark (where I currently reside) . Whenever I launch HotS , the option to change keyboard layouts automatically disappears from Windows and does not return up until the pc reboot. What more, the keyboard forcefully uses EN-US layout (same as Czech Programmer’s) and does not allow me to change layouts even when using the shortcut (CLTR+SHIFT nor WinKey+Space work)

I’d try removing the Battle.net Cache and see if it helps.

  1. Press windows key + R
  • Type %programdata%
  • Click OK
  • Delete the Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders

  • Type %appdata%
  • Click OK
  • Delete the Battle.net folder
  1. Press windows key + R
  • Type %localappdata%
  • Click OK
  • Delete the battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders
