Region unavailable

Hello I get this message when trying to connect.
The selected region is currently unavailable. Please try again later or select another region. It then sends me back to a blank menu with US selected as a region. I would change this back to EU and log in from within the game not from battle.net as prompted for a password. The game logs me in into my heroes menu but as soon as I click on anything it disconnects.

Please help

Hey Valentina,

Please delete the Battle.net Cache and Battle.net Files and retest afterwards. If that still does not help out, go through the Connection Troubleshooting Support Article and retest again afterwards.

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

Tried All of those Nothing worked

Hey there

Would you be so kind as to provide us with a couple of diagnostic files?

You can find here instructions on how to create them.

Once the files are ready please upload them on an external website (eg. Pastebin) and post the link in your reply.
To do so you’ll need to write the links, highlight them and then use the </> button available at the top of the relpy panel

Alternatively you can also simply add a space here and there in the URL of the links

Considering your description of the situation, I would like to ask you to also post results of a WinMTR test. You should be able to copy paste those directly in the reply, so no need to upload them somewhere ^^

Thank you

Please see the first test here [http://batman.gyptis.org/zerobin/?c39ab2ead060812d#Dz/8MdHaLHaQwKkMB2rg19eyoD4F3tJmGyDV51vbu0c=]

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Hi, valentina949! o/

So, that winMTR doesn’t look good.

Each line in the winMTR is a node along the connection, from your router to our servers. So the first line is your router, the next one the first “crossroad” after your router, and so on until you reach the server at the end.

As you can see, the % column shows a consistent 3% from the very first line (except for 2 lines, showing an 89% and a 100%, but since these two don’t spread down, we can assume it’s because of the security of those nodes). This percentage is for packages lost. That is, the percentage of packages sent to that node that don’t come back. In other words, sometimes the information sent to your router gets lost.

Similarly, the best column (which tells us what’s the best time for a package to reach that node and come back to you) shows really good times, but the wrst column shows huge spikes from the very first line, over 3.5 seconds (the time is in milliseconds there). That means that while usually the answer time is really fast, sometimes that node just takes forever to reply.

Since this appears in the very first line (and then spreads down), this means there’s something going on with the connection to your router. Since you already tried the Connection Troubleshooting Nenyasqi suggested, which includes resetting your router, I would check things with your Internet provider or the router manufacturer.
