I was playing ow when i got T bagged by an enemy winston after being killed by him. I don’t know why he did it but this upset me as I really dislike T bagging. I then noticed that the the btag of said player was “Intercourse”. I then decided to report him for bad battle tag since i do this anyways when i see inappropriate B tags knowing young kids play this game. I informed the winston of the report mainly cause i was mad at him at the time. He then said he was gonna counter report me for calling him monkey and said that was racist. I told him this was not a legitimate use of the reporting system and he was abusing the system. I think he was in a premade cause shortly after i got my account suspended. This is as accurate recollection of the events leading up to my suspension as i can remember. I just want to know what did i do wrong? And why did it justify a suspension. I hope i didnt get suspended due to some automated suspension system simply because i got counter reported said amount of times. I realise i shouldnt tell people when i report them but does this warrant account suspension?
Firstly… Tbaging is part and parcel of online competitive games and has been since time immemorial… stop being a snowflake…
secondly… “Intercourse” in its true English meaning actually means “To have a conversation” so by itself is not a bad battletag… stop being a snowflake
thirdly… what you did wrong? you played the game… and there are just as many people out there reporting for absolutely anything as you… you are a victim of your own mentality here and thats why you got suspended… perhaps if there were less people like you in the game there would be less unwarranted suspensions

The fact that he did T bag me the first chance he got means there is a high probability he meant his btag in the sexually related way. Your argument is weak at best.

i will i care more about my values than i do about a game that has none. Having fun is great but people need rules. Otherwise, it’s just a big brothel.

you really cant get upset about tbagging in games now, its been a thing since halo days. and intercourse is not a bad battle tag, yes ts childish because its the term for s*x, hahahahah im sure they’re a real comedian, but you really are being soft if this upset you, I hate being bagged but I don’t report them for it, I just destroy them and every time I kill them bad them back. if you find this sort of behaviour unacceptable then you might want to stick to single player games for the future. people play games for different reasons, and all come from different backgrounds, some use them to vent, others for enjoyment and others for the competitive side. unless he did something worthy of a report, which in this case he didn’t, then u deserved to be suspended, its reports like this that take up blizzards time and cause the really bad players to not be banned for weeks
No actually its not about hurting if you really want to know why i did that. I told him because i believe adults have a responsability to show the example for younger players and generations. And it was a lesson in that regard. I know that moral and ethical education is something that literally doesnt exist anymore but im hanging to what i was taught as a child. I may be a dying breed facing this new wave of generations that have no sense of responsability towards how they behaviour online. But still i will keep fighting for what i believe. And btw the way you talk your starting to sound like a bigger snowflake than me if indeed it does refere to someone too sensitive. Were you ever punished as a child? Did your parents ever teach you a lesson? i find that the people who start the accusations are usually the guilty party. Oh one last thing i like my level of sensitivity and i stand by it so yeah if that means im a snowflake I have no problem being a snowflake :). No shame at all :D.
Thank you for your post. However, I disagree with two things u wrote. First, T bagging has been said by blizzard to be reportable if u felt like it offended you “i.e. you were Tbagged by someone who is mad at you and is doing it out of spite.” Second, I don’t believe reporting someone with a Btag that has sexual inuendo/connotation is a bad thing. Since i used the appropriate report (ie Bad Battle tag) and you have the right to report a Btag if u feel it is inappropriate in the context of the game. Which, I felt it was. So my judgement call. I mde this thread not for community feedback but to ask blizzard if they could review my suspension to make sure it is intented and not somekind of automated mistake.

in this case I have no idea who your addressing, but in this case im 17, I earned my cash to buy what I want to buy, which was a pc to play games on. whilst supporting my single mother. so id appreciate it if you wouldn’t address my personal life like you know what’s going on, with that whole “were you ever punished” crap, I probably deal with more than most guys have to deal with for the their first 20 years. but see, in this case you probably would have reported me if id said the same thing to you. I don’t feel the need to report you now cause you said something unaware of my situation. but honestly if you are classing yourself as the last generation to care how they act online then your sorely mistaken buddy. its just we have a higher threshold if being able to deal with toxic people in our lives, im curious thou, what other games have you actually played, cause ngl this sounds like your first ever multiplayer experience.

Had this great 1v1 with an ashe the other day, resulted in the player using BOB to finish me off, they then Bagged me good.
Honesly, it proper made me laugh, because i enjoyed the 1v1 and it looked comical at at the end.
We both lol`d on chat and carried on with the game.

Normally I’d be all over anyone who refers to people reporting others for bad behaviour as “sensitive snowflakes” - and you know it, AllMight, we’ve had a lot of discussions about this - but this person is confirming that stereotype completely. I’d almost say troll.
My guess is you got your suspension for being a toxic know-it-all Karen. Not for doing what’s right. There is real toxicity, racism, misogyny, … in the game. Focus your energy on that. Your attitude right now is devaluating any argument why people should keep reporting bad behaviour online.
There is a certain context to keep in mind though winchester. For example, you getting tbagged and me getting tbagged are already different situations. And the winston Tbagged me on purpose to trigger for whatever reason. Prob cause i was try harding and that annoyed him who knows.
