Ive played quite a lot och games during the winter weeks and ive noticed that there is a lot of cheater. More often than not in the enemy team. And they often turn on their hacks in the second round of the game after the lost.
My question is - Why is there not a ban wave EVERY MONTH? or every other 2 weeks? There’s still a massive problem playing this game since its never fair which makes me hate the game all the more.
There are usually more cheaters around holiday periods as more people have time to play.
Let me guess : No replay codes available so we can verify this?

Game infested with aimbots. Sadly. All you can do is report and move on. Blizzard not doing anything regardless of cheaters.

What’s the point of this? There are many players here and all of them have their own opinion about it. Prove you, prove you not, it’ll all end the same. Cheaters are exist in this game. Some players know it, some of them don’t, the others don’t care, the others are cheaters. So many possibilities. Point is, blizz don’t care. If they don’t realize that cheaters are ruining the game, soon ov2 will have same fate as HotS. Abandoned and forgotten.
HotS couldnt even take off to orbit. OW is gonna have a slow descent and burn up in the atmosphere while the common big part of players jump off to alternatives, while the hardcore ones will find excusses. The blame game will go on for awhile on all mediums. Then a hivemind like break will happen, like ppl stopped using find a group or later on voice chat at all. I saw this happen in a few great games, and lets be honest OW used to be a great game, a legendary one at what it does… did?
Whilst this is always a possibility OW2 has more players now than OW1 ever had. So it would take awhile to get there.
Launch ov2 and make so many good players leave. I used to play ov1 from the beginning, have even pre-order widow skin. Now… now i stopped playing this game and sometimes trying to play one-two-three matches to check what’s the differents? Nothing changed here.

Actual online or account made after launch? Or maybe you mean start to play, but how many will stay? So why then blizz decided to get the game in Steam if it so popular? Why you get same players every match if there are millions players online?
It’s irrelevant, in the month of December, there were more active accounts than at any point in ow1.
Why steam? Have you heard of this thing called money… Blizzard like it. So they thought if they opened it up to more people, they could make more of it. People just don’t use steam for it, so it hasn’t really worked as planned.
And some players do care, are actually decent at the game and understand how it works. They also understand and will accept that some players are just better than them and that some players reach ridiculous but legit level of skill.
There are also players that fail everything of the above and just suck at the game. They are either too incompetent to understand that the game isn’t infested with cheaters or they have a very weak mental and can’t accept that someone is better than them. These players are also usually pretty low ranked and will never climb out of the metal ranks.
I’ve been playing this game since 2016 and relatively speaking only came across few cheaters and i know how to spot them. I’ve been called a cheater (very recently even) for using game sense, good mechanics or the game audio (which is actually hilarious) by bad, oblivious players. Sure there are cheaters like in every other online game but not nearly as much as bad players claim there are. Stop being ignorant please.
I lost a game last night, because 2 members of my team started calling out the enemy Sojourn for cheating, tilted and because of that they soft threw.
The dude was a master Sojourn, and they were a gold Torb… (it was open queue, so this happens). sometimes you just have to accept others will role you.

On the other hand, I can not say this game has no cheaters. All games have their cheaters and there are a lot of cheaters. It is not hard to see cheat engine discords, and have many customers they have. But… Probably because OW is not as popular as other games, this is the least suspected game for me. I rarely get suspicious about cheaters in this game than any other games like Valorant or CS.
Cheater numbers should be peaked after OW decided to be a free-for-all for sure.

Seems like the amount of cheaters are increasing again. Each game seems to have 1-2 cheaters. When you watch the reply it is so obvious. Also the game crash hacking are some days so bad that 2-3 games in a row get cancelled. Akward Blizzard!
