Doomfist Bug? NERF THE WEEB

Has been driving me insane lately and is making Doomfist pretty obsolete/useless in this meta.
Basically whenever Doomfist lands either his Seismic Slam or his Uppercut on a target, their movement is locked into a linear movement which overrides almost every ability except for a few (eg. Graviton Surge). However with Hanzo’s relatively new leap ability, he can escape Doomfist’s combos at will, on a 4 second cooldown, Vs Doomfist’s 7 second cooldowns. I’m not sure if this is a bug or not (hence the title) but it seems very odd when compared to heroes like Genji, who can’t escape Doomfist’s Seismic Slam and Uppercut with HIS double jump, and Reinhardt can’t even fricking charge in the opposite direction until Doomfist’s animation has finished.
Since Hanzo is EXTREMELY prevalent in the meta right now, and is in almost every single game, Doomfist is made very hard to play, as his previously consistent combos will not work on Hanzo. Doomfist will dive him, miss every shot because for some reason he’s 10 meters away by the time you blink and be an easy target for Hanzo’s storm bow because he’s fricking 7"1 and built like a truck.
Without regard to his place in the meta this just seems like a dumb gameplay mechanic that isn’t fair.
