Error Applying Update Glitch

So i was wrongfully banned from competitive 2 days ago which was already annoying as i dont really play quick play. and then now whenever i try get into a game whether it be quick play, practice range or ANYTHING im stuck in an infinite loading screen of downloading update/applying update. by the time it loads it just says error applying update and kicks me out of the game. i’ve restated my xbox about 50 times and ive reinstalled overwatch to no help at all. can someone please help me it’s so frustrating to not be able to play anything for no reason.

Hello again, I see some of you found it already but we’ve posted an update to this here: Which would also be the place to keep an eye on for future updates. I do apologize to anyone impacted by this. I understand it’s a frustrating situation and having to wait for a resolution isn’t ideal, but rest assured we’re doing everything we can to rectify this as soon as possible.
