I had the same error too and lost 50 SR at 13-13.30 GMT+3.

Stop playing ranked until the issue is resolved. You’re just hurting your SR for no reason.

I’m experiencing the problem as well, no matter what game mode I’m queueing for. (Thankfully I didn’t go for comp though)

Of course Blizzard offers multiple contact methods; being able to privately talk to representatives is absolutely mandatory, especially in terms of billing or account issues. However, for this particular problem, there’s no point in submitting a ticket since a Game Master won’t be able to fix the issue for you because it seems to be occurring outside of Blizzard’s infrastructure. To keep everything tidy and in one place, please post the requested data here into this thread.
If you don’t want the community to see your information publicly, you can delete your post after posting it. That way, only the forum staff can see it.

I’m afraid that’s not how networks work. Let me shed some light on the subject:

In this image, the server is located in southern France. Now let’s assume one of these blue dots (‘nodes’) is not working properly. That way, it will affect different ISPs in different regions, at the same time. Because those nodes are neither located within Blizzard’s infrastructure, nor within the one of your ISP, it can become difficult to track down and successfully resolve those problems.
This is also the reason why not everyone is affected.

There is a point in submitting a ticket, because of we lost our SR and get banned from servers due to Blizzard servers network problems. Blizzard may warn users about that public problem and Blizzard may disable competetive mode temporarely. It’s all inside of Blizzard’s infrastructure. Blizzard have to fix our losses and bans, its also inside of Blizzard’s infrastructure.

Use pastebin for the traceroute. It’s one of the few links you are allowed to post. 
No, that is not true. The first investigations show that the root of the problem seems to be located in an external area, at a point which Blizzard cannot access themselves. Please have a look at my previous reply for a short demonstration.
Game Masters can neither adjust your SR, nor lift any in-game penalties.
It’s not up to Customer Service to decide whether there’ll be some sort of compensation or SR adjustment. Please remain patient.

The issue isn‘t PC only but also persists on Ps4 so I can‘t give you detailed information.
I lost 100sr so please fix the issue asap…

Ok so let’s assume that routing is malfunctioning somewhere midway to Blizzard server (or actually somewhere really close to the server as it affects so many countries) .
My question is why you are using penalty at the point where the game is not even loading for us? It might be not Blizzard’s fault but thousands of users are also not guilty.
Why not using penalty when the game starts to load and somebody leaves instead? Wouldn’t that make more sense?
