OW2 literally sucks! We want to OW1 back. We bought OW1 and OW2 totally different game. Has no any soul of OW1. Seeking another game like OW1. Any suggestions?

Paladins maybe? Don’t think there are many at all, that’s what made OW1 so great.

I’m a mixed bag if I’m being truthfully honest.
I’m happy that they decided to give Overwatch a new clean slate of health, content in OW1 was stale and I was getting absolutely bored and frustrated with the two-shield 2 cp map style of turtling which just ruined my enjoyment of matches.
However, I’m less than happy that they decided to remove the leveling progression system where you got a nice incentive every level as you progressed your account. I’m also less than thrilled that they removed LFG, the general world channel where you would sometimes have fun conversations with other players and player borders and the [I’m on fire] from matches where you could see whether you or someone else on your team was doing something to make a difference.
I am also not happy about the way they went about their monetization in OW2, I understand and think it’s perfectly reasonable for Blizzard to make money off their IP because at the end of the day they need to please investors and justify the time and effort that goes into developing a game like that.
Did skins really have to cost 20€ a piece? The price point and the fact that you only get 60 coins a week from doing the missions screams to me that this is a predatory practice to [force] players to buy skins because you’ll never know when they are added back. It generates a fear where you feel like you will miss out if you don’t buy them, and it worries me when you realize how little impulse control teens have that also play this game.

Try TF2 if you’re on PC, that’s pretty fun.
Yes, i tried yesterday but i dont like it. Graphics and easy game play not for me:(

Honestly I just miss the old hud, where the border around your hero would evolve as you gained levels and the fire would be the team colour you have set, and I liked the medals system alot.
I wish there was an option to at the very least put your level around the character again, not having that there makes it feel like something is just missing.
I m the firsit players of TF2. For 6 years i dont play. Now i m installing it again after years.
Good timing, Scream Fortress just started back up like 2 or 3 days ago.
I agree with you. I fell like completelly different environment that i use to. We paid for OW1 and really lost it

Paladins is a soulless experience. TF2 is just bots and cheaters now.
OW1 ended months ago, they just dragged it out for too long. OW2 is so much more fun, with actual reasons to play.

They removed portrait levels. Removed comp rank showing on your portrait. They made skins cost half of an AAA game.
Is there any progress you can make in this game anymore? beside the Battlepass, which also costs money for the majority of the okayish skins?
All-in-all OW2 is a MASSIVE downgrade. It feels unfinished, and I feel second-hand embarrassment for Blizzard

I personally enjoy OW2, I think it’s great. I will be back playing on the regular again. This and RB6 will be my go to games.
But I can understand the frustration some players have. Especially support players. They need a health buff I think. Learning all the new maps will help too.
There are a lot of things I miss though, I might be in the minority, but I loved the two CP capture point maps. Hanamura and Volskia Indautries were glorious maps to me 
I also miss the clarity on ranked progression. Team icons etc.
And I’m not a huge fan of the robot maps. Decreasing the robot lane by 25% might help a lot though. That would require some map reworks. But can be done.
What do you miss about ow1? Shooting tanks for hours on, trying to burst double shield? Trying to burst double dive heroes?
The only people who complain about 5v5 and it’s pace are the ones who play characters with 0 skill ceiling. Either go and play QP or drop to a lower rank where people match your stupidity and skill level.

The passive, hide behind shields being cuddled safely while you miss your shots players loved OW1 at the end.
OW2 is what OG OW always used to be.

“many” being a little misleading. You should probably change that to “some” in order not to confuse people. Don’t confuse the forums for a consensus. There are people prowling who think the game is rigged and adjusts hit boxes mid game… Crazy stuff.
Would suggest otherwise.
You can enjoy both OW2 and OW1 and prefer different aspects of each.
I see no harm in them keeping the original alive for people who wish to enjoy those aspects of the original.

As you can see from the poll in this website 59% are unhappy about being forced into OW2.

There’s no harm in that at all. If Blizzard do WoW Classic, why can’t they do the same for OW1… The mind boggles.

I think that’s why they’d be unlikely to do it for other games.
It’s not been as successful ongoing as they hoped
There is no consistent money to made from an OW1 classic. So you’d need to give them a strong business case that isn’t just “but I like OW1” (a game you barely played btw)
