I lost alot of self esteem

I really can’t come to terms with this game not providing actual progress towards match making. we players don’t even have reason to be cooperative or friendly.

I don’t think many of us can mate. It’s been broken for a long time now.

What sort of progress do you want from them.

They match on MMR (whilst taking considerations for groups, ping and time in queue) and that is it.

If you are using that as an excuse to not be “cooperative or friendly”, you are to blame. You don’t have to be “cooperative or friendly” if you don’t want to be. Don’t look for excuses though. It is your choice.

This game uses EOMM, not SBMM, and is also known as rigged matchmaking.

If you start to get too high of a win rate, the game will also start to mess with hit detection and accuracy along with giving the enemy team latency advantages and more. This is all part of forcing the majority of players into the lower brackets, kind of like herding cattle.

This isn’t just me saying this, but a lot of people on the internet is saying the same thing. Even a former creative director for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1/2/3 did an interview, exposing Activision, and Activision = Blizzard in more ways than one.

It uses SBMM. Rigging isn’t a thing.

 Jeez. That’s certainly a claim.

You hit skill cap maybe? You know in PvP games you fight with people, so you end up with realization of where your place is…

Skill caps can be raised, but it’s impossible when you get matched against smurfs and cheaters on the enemy team, or constantly getting throwers/leavers and people with no clue of what they’re doing on your own team. Doesn’t matter how ‘good’ you are, if that keep happening. You can’t just ‘git gud’ your way out of those situations.

how tf you can’t git gud? It’s a skill cap. You don’t die for real in games, so you can train. Why tf I can spend hours in aim training while some lazy ******* can’t? Maybe cuz they are lazy?

Easy on the language there little fella. Spending hours in aim training doesn’t help with positioning, awareness or against smurfs/cheaters if you’re in a bronze-gold lobby trying to get to a higher elo. That’s just a fact.

positioning is trained like this - you watch replay (nothing different from aim training, too hard to understand it, huh?)
awareness?? turn on your headset, lol
smurf/cheaters - nonsence, to start with you get as much smurfs/cheaters in your team as enemy does, so it doesn’t matter. next to it - its amazing to fight against smurf, you can learn from them, it’s like fight against some bruce lee guy with the benefit not being killed or injured. You just don’t value pure gold of fighting with big brothas

Agree. No need for it. Also no need to be patronising towards them.

But this is rubbish. How do you think anyone climbs into GM, Champ and T500… They do it by improving all their skills.

It is literally a provable event that if you improve skill you climb.

You can test this on the extreme but giving a low ranked account to a higher ranked player. But obviously in normal cases it takes time.

But I think that is the issue. People are impatient. They want the climb now, rather than having to work for it and taking maybe a year to get anywhere near what they want.

no need to train? It’s like bodypositivity? but lowskillpositivity? why cry then?

No need for the tone or language.

I completely agree with your message, just not how you are presenting it. You won’t win people like that over by shouting at them.

Sadly this is the truth…

:pouting_cat: :point_up_2:

It isn’t though Hulk.

" EOMM is used for 1v1 games where every game have three possible absolute results, win, loss, draw. EA obviously developed this for games like FIFA and MADDEN."

EA have it patented. To use it you’d have to pay them a lot of money, that should be the first giveaway that Overwatch doesn’t use it.

It is also known that the Overwatch match maker was built in house. So if they used EOMM, they’d of been taken to court over it by EA.

Nah, positioning is something you learn from hands-on practice and you can’t get that from doing aim trainers. Positioning includes knowing where and what off angles to pick, do they have an easy escape route etc. You’re not going to get that knowledge from playing aim trainers, yet another fact.

No not really.

No it’s not and no you can’t learn anything from playing against them, because the only thing you learn is humiliation and you can’t learn anything from that. It’s literally detrimental for the game and for our enjoyment of the game, having to play against smurfs and cheaters.

I value actual competitive integrity and principles, like rank vs rank and not players within 15-20 divisions of each other versus each other.

How can we confirm that? Any proof? I really doubt, that is literallyy manipulating the games, it would be unacceptable.

We can’t believe everything we read online… i see also a lot of people saying that earth is flat, even some renowned physicians

True.

If this was happening, the game would have died years ago. Some disgruntled ex-employees (because Blizz has A LOT of them), would have leaked it years ago, killing the game on the spot.

And most important question, why would Blizzard do such thing, knowing that they risk to be exposed and lose thrust of mostly of the player base…

Exactly. I don’t think they need to do it to annoy sections of the player base.

They can do that just as easily by releasing a hero that offends people (Venture and such). Or next week when they probably tell people 6v6 ain’t happening.

But I get it, there will have been a trigger event that gets an individual questioning things. These theories seem attractive, and boom you have a new member.
