I am playing from the UK, and with 40ms latency I have insane lag spikes, like can’t shoot for 3 sec, rubberbanding etc.
When I play on American server, my latency is 150-200ms, but no lag at all.
Same game different server can’t blame my connection. On the EU server 4 of my teammates were complaining the same, yet server status shows no issues.
Are EU servers made of scrap metal, and Blizzard only cares about American and Asian player base?
I am not talking about a one off game experiance, but consistant issue, for over a month of observation.

Same issue here on UK servers. Ping test on looking-glass shows 100% packetloss every time:
4 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2998ms
My ISP is BT.

I too am having this problem.
Ive seen alot of people including myself this 100% packet loss, i dont know what it means tho, Blizzards fault or maybe uk internet providers?

UK internet providers fault? Everyone else fault except Blizzard, yet majority of EU players have the same issue. The truth is Blizzard is a money grabbing garbage people.

Hello there.
Same huge lag. I have higher base ping than usual and the IND ping is very unstable. This leads to completely unplayable game. Randomly ppl will disappear and TP at a new location, 2/3 of the time I cant even see enemy healthbar after damaging them. I’m getting slept or even killed before I can even see the animation etc. EU servers dead. Need to stop playing until they fix that.

I didn’t say it wasent blizzards fault, i dont know what all that packet loss and all the numbers mean. it probs is blizzards fault. but idc tbh i just want it fixed whoever is at fault.

but it is blizzard’s fault, maybe indirectly but it’s the servers, i have played all afternoon today and every single game had this weird spike, not like ping lag, my ping was steady 40 going as up as 90 at times, the hitreg was really bad and everyone was lagging, it’s the servers, in every single game i joined i asked the other players and everytime they’d say they’d been lagging the whole day too, it’s the servers.
brother, now what is happening with the servers is incomprehensible, in Russia in our country losses to the Blizzard servers reach 50%

EDIT:And I also just tried the suggestion by SilentStorm, thankyou !! its a great fix for that problem, but alas, even after filtering out Holland too and just using CDG, the ping is still double normal… Fibre 600Mb
This is an ongoing issue between Movistar and Blizzard , high latency look at their Movistar Spain forums. - they blame network traffic for our high ping during peak hours (still after midnight…)
Please fix Blizzard - it doesn’t happen in other games, only yours … sorry to say…
EDIT 2 : Now it its back to “normal” ~54 … so i should be happy, and shut up,
